One of the more popular memes around the interwebs embraces that feeling of taking off your bra at the end of the day. I’d hazard a guess that if you’re heel-wearer, that feeling is similar, yes?
That used to be me … that feeling of sweet relief when taking my heels off at the end of the day or night.
Not any more. That feeling of relief is there the moment I slip my feet into a pair of FRANKiE4 Footwear heels.
I thank the footwear gods on a daily basis that I can have my heels, they can be stylish AND I can wear them all day too.
Last spring-summer, I introduced you to the new heels on the FRANKiE4 Footwear block (including my namesake NiKKi) but hold on to your supported soles ladies, because this spring-summer the heels collection at FRANKiE4 just got even bigger.
I’m incredibly proud to be ambassador for this brand. The designer – podiatrist and physiotherapist Caroline McCulloch – continues to throw out the so-called rule book when it comes to designing shoes that tick both the style AND comfort boxes.
There is a heel for every woman, every outfit and every occasion. Get excited, scroll on for a look at six new styles, how I’ll incorporate them into my everyday style and your chance to win one of two pairs of new-season FRANKiE4 Footwear heels.
The support in these heels is hidden – the podiatrist-designed, triple-density, functional footbed provides heel and arch support as well as heel and forefoot cushioning.
If you’ve ever put your soles into a pair of FRANKiE4 Footwear shoes, you know what I’m talking about when it comes to comfort. It’s next level and something I could not now sacrifice. If you’re still to experience the FRANKiE4 Footwear difference, then please do your soles a favour.
Your spring-summer 2017 heel shoe-robe
When it comes to working out just what heels* your spring-summer wardrobe needs, I’ve got a simple three-step check list for you.
- Consider what colours you mostly wear in your clothes. This will help you determine which neutral shoe colour will work with more of what you wear every day. I do love wearing black, even in summer, so that works for me, but light tan/nude/blush probably works best for me across my entire wardrobe.
- Consider what types of outfits you need your heels to work with. Do you have occasions or events on the horizon? Do you need a heel that will serve you diligently each day with your work wardrobe? I like to have a heel I can call on for a girls’ lunch or night out but I also like to know if I have a work meeting, I can pop on a heel and feel a little more dressed up for that meeting.
- Think about what height of heel you feel you can wear all day. This is such an individual thing and also depends on what you do in your day. The new FRANKiE4 mid-heel height might be just the best compromise for you for the every day, saving a higher heel for evenings or occasions.
*This post features six of the new heel styles available from FRANKiE4 footwear. New flat styles have also been released this week, with more to come next month. I’ll feature flats here on the blog in September.
ALANA is your go-to party heel this season. Available in black (pictured) and blush, she knows how to make your occasion or event outfit look The Business and you know that you’ll still be comfortably standing hours after you arrive. The adjustable, buttery soft, leather straps wrap around the lower calf to make a statement and the minimalist toe strap means that ALANA works with even the most feminine of outfits. She’s not just about her good looks either. The built-in, triple-density functional footbed cushions and supports your heel, arch and forefoot. I love how stable you feel in this 80mm heel.
CATE is the hero trans-seasonal shoe of the season. She looks dressed up for work or an event – in either tan (pictured) or black. This mule style of shoe carries your shoe-robe from winter into spring. CATE looks amazing with a pant or jean but she’s equally at home worked back with a skirt or dress. The 80mm heel is so stable under foot and you get all the sole-saving benefits of the built-in, triple-density functional footbed.
Yes, STEPH is your corporate, work-day, shoe-robe saviour but this savvy heel in nude (pictured) or black is also happily at home offering up a pretty-tough contrast when worked back with jeans for a weekend outfit. The heel height is a super comfortable 65mm (with 10mm of forefront cushioning). The adjustable ankle strap is designed to help keep your foot in place in the shoe. She really is an all-day heel.
ALYCE will happily take you out for poolside cocktails all summer long. Pictured here in black (but also available in tan and navy), ALYCE was my European escape summer heel. She gave me a dressed-up height situation – she’s 80mm high but with a 20mm forefoot platform – so that meant she was so easy to walk in. One afternoon/evening, I walked about 7km in ALYCE. The built-in, triple-density functional footbed was working overtime and my feet were just fine. Her espadrille styling just screams resort wear but you don’t need to go on holidays to play resorts with ALYCE. Wear them for any smart casual occasion.
So you love a heel but don’t want to commit to 80mm or more? Say hello to DONNA (and her style-savvy sister SARA coming up next). This is a mid-heel – 65mm – so still with height but an arch drop that is so, so wearable. DONNA’s available in tan (pictured) and also black. The cross-over ankle strap design is super flattering and the nude contrast strap on the forefoot adds interest to this neutral shoe. The built-in, triple-density functional footbed is also there for all-day comfort.
I know I’m not supposed to play favourites but as an everyday heel that will work with just about every spring-summer outfit in my wardrobe, SARA has stolen my heart and “sole”. I love her plaited leather ways and I love how the ankle strap makes a flattering, minimalist statement. SARA (pictured below in tan but also available in black) features the 65mm mid-heel like DONNA, with the same built-in, triple-density functional footbed for all-day wearability.

Ah,hello stylish comfort! Lilli black on Doris’s tootsies will make this spring/summer a daily joy.
I’m six months into chemo for Breast cancer and my feet get very sore from a thing called neuropathy. My Frankie heels (Which I got onto in Brisbane from your posts) are out right now but I’d love their flats. I’m a General Manger and a personal fundraiser. at Cancer Council Queensland and I know first Hand how these shoes could help women in chemo, plus you make us look good when we have lost our hair. Hillary Champage look perfect for a rename. Maybe Hope rather than my name for all the 27,000 Queenslanders diagnosed this year. ❤️
Alyce – it’s a beautiful plateau shoe. I can’t wear high heels; so this is a great compromise.
Planter fasciitis for a year has been a pain
Put me in a heel again!
From Cate to Amy let’s rename.
Alyce – a beautiful shoe, for a shortie it’s height with super style. Saving my Spring style and souls, one chunky heal at a time.
Donna needs to be renamed ANNIE as this shoe is sure to fit my foot!!!
Alyce should be renamed Julie, as it’s just the look (and comfort) I want for an upcoming wedding, where I’d love to stand tall and fashionable without sacrificing comfort.
Nikki Tan should be named Cool Coco:
Open style for weather so warm, hidden comfort so I can walk around in fine form…
Coco colour similar to milk chocolate that I love, perfect in every way fits like a glove!
I can picture myself wearing her at work, or dressed down with denim…… versatility is her perk!
I love her is every way…
Please pick me and make my day!
Sophie11 should be renamed Jac
Just like me, built for comfort,
Great for my back.
Contemporary and feminine
Smart as a pin.
The Cara Tan must be renamed the Michele Tan. Such an elegant looking shoe which will be great for the office over Summer. Have suffered with Plantar Fasciitis in the past so these shoes would give great support and stability while looking stylish and swish.
HiLARY Black Should be renamed Sonja, i love a stylish flat shoe, great for the spring and summer seasons
The ‘Alyce’ might be a ‘Christy’ just as soon as this Melbourne weather warms up. Crossing my fingers for a very ‘Christy’ spring!
Donna is definitely a Tamara. So stylish, yet easy going and fun!
The Steph renamed Karen. As a person who doesn’t wear heels hardly at all ( I really don’t maybe once a year and I only have one pair) these may become my go to, to add some style to my day. I love the nude as I wear a lot of black shoes normally. I need to be styled up as my shoe wear is rather dismal. I could become a heel convert yet.
[email protected]. Thanks for the chance
The NAT Black/White NEEDS to be the NICOLE.
It is a little bit edgy with a little bit of padding in places it should be.
Hilary in black definitely should be renamed Melissa. A busy Mum that needs comfortable and supportive footwear that is easy to slip on and off!
email – [email protected]
The Steph black to be changed to Mara, perfect shoes to go out and about with and perfect to wear in the office, an all rounder like myself.
When you’re six feet tall and awkward, heels must be low to prevent those sprains…
So ideally it would be JENNIFER for the delightfully whimsical CHLOE Champagne!
Sara! Well sell my soul and call them the Jojo, cos they’ve got my name written all over them <3
Love ❤️ the Alyce. Perfect for the beautiful spring weather.
Alyce is summer ready,
The saying “these boots weren’t made for walking”,
these are the opposite,
I could wear them all day.
I really like the Alyce one because I really like the jeans with the white shirt
I really like the Alyce one because I love the jeans with the white shirt
SOPHIE would become the Monica…in every colour avaliable! Greedy much?! Active flats get me moving and because i love to get out and walk everywhere, i need a FRANKIE4 ‘friend/shoe’ to walk with!
I would change the Steph to the Cassie heel. It ticks all the boxes for a safe shoe at work yet it supports my feet and cups the heel to help eliminate the pain of my severe plantar fasciitis.
Donna in black to ‘Lauren’ the heel that’s too comfy to be a heel. Perfect for the Tassie summer and holidays.
Donna changes to Kerry Ann. The cross over strap wont cut off my short legs and gets me into an everyday heel, out of unflattering flats.
Sara should be Sally. Running around after 3 kids and they’re activities snd being at work all day, means my feet are constantly sore. Plus my name comes from Sara, both meaning princess. So it’s a great fit!
Sara should be Vivian, I love the style, colour and comfort. I’m on my feet for 8 hours each day and I need something to be kind to my sole.
The Sara definitely should be the Rachel. After two babies in 18 months, and the joys of pregnancy, I have no shoes that actually fit and the beautiful Frankie4 Sara would be an amazing start to a new collection!!
Sara should be renamed Lisa to transform this thong wearing working from home mum into a casual yet stylish & comfort wearing funky mum
The Maddy should definitely be be an Allyson. Smart, casual and comfortable and lovely to wear. Something elegant for an older but still feels young lady
The Lilli shoe should be renamed the Bianca. She is a fun, casual slip on that oozes appeal. Nothing short of comfy, she will cushion your feet during those lazy summer days at the beach or wherever you wish to take her. She is a colourful shoe that comes in Navy, Black or Tan. She epitomises her namesake to a tee!!…hahhaha
The Sara should be the Tracey. Stylish but not overdone and suitable to meet the in-laws
The Maddie should definitely be called ‘April’. My souls need saving because I’m pregnant and the only shoes that have enough cushioning to stop me feet aching at my winter Frankie 4’s.
Frankie4 already has a shoe with my amazing name. Both are already equally amazing 🙂
The Alyce is just screaming out to be named after me. She’s a perfect Wendy shoe, easy on the eyes, sassy on the foot, but walks like she’s on a cloud.
I think the CHLOE should be named Stacy. It’s like me: supportive; reliable; has a sole (ha); likes walking; lifts people up and has a bit of cushioning (hee).
I think CATE should be named CORINA because it is just so perfect for me as I’m all about comfort, style and versatility. The perfect trans-seasonal shoe for our unpredictable Melbourne weather!
Alyce needs to be renamed VANDA as I love a nicSe, comfortable wedge that will give me some height (I’m only 5’2″). As a busy mum of two, I’m constantly on the go – so SMS (Save My Soles) and make my day with a pair of FRANKiE4 Footwear!!
I love the Chloe! A tiny heel to feel dressed up, but nothing too high, so I can still run around after my 3 boys! It’s the perfect shoe for me!
Sarah needs to be named Tiria
I would wear these day and night in Tan, I have had great difficulty with shoes since 1995 when I injured my left ankle from netball. I need a good ankle support with a strap and cushioning under my sole to help me feel secure and comfy.

Alyce, take me to Wonderland! I just completed the Couch to 5K — I can’t believe it, I ran 5k non-stop yesterday and didn’t die! My feet carried me across the finish line and into the start of a new running life. They are precious and I would love to treat them to a pair of Frankie4s for the summer. Alyce, I think you look more like a “Nicole”! 😉

ALYCE would save my soles with her lovely wedge
A for Alyce is the same so I do pledge
To change to ADRIENNE meaning dark one from Hadria (Italian city)
See romantic and oh so pretty
An adventure on my feet
A sole journey where who knows who we’d meet
I would rename the Alyce to Tash as I would live in them.
I’d rename Alyce, Leanne. I’m a massive wedge fan and wearer. They go great with a variety of outfits ie shorts, jeans, dresses and skirts. I’m loving the tan and navy in this style and I’d be definitely wearing them all Summer long ❤️
Sara – Looks so pretty, would take me to school drop off, work and home in style, and keep my precious tootsies happy and cool! The Rosemarie has a very nice ring to it 🙂
The Cate!! Gorgeous style, so versatile and can be dressed up or down. This shoe would provide support and comfort whilst still being stylish and fashionable!!
Alana. Just gorgeous and fun. They could go with jeans, dresses skirts. So versatile, just like myself. A working wife & mother of 2 gorgeous girls.
Alyce, I love you. Navy is my go to colour. Let’s rename her MINA as I can see myself strutting around our office this summer in the most gorgeous wedge heels ever. People will say Mina there she goes gliding through her work on heavenly heels, smiling all the way. Alyce be mine. Comfort, style and a wedge.
Alyce
Alyce say you’ll be mine
And from my lips you will never
Hear me whine
I need your help
To get through my days,
Surrounded by 5 year olds and their very
Energetic ways.
I desire your strength, style and support
Please oh please
Send me some comfort.
Plantar fasciitis is my burden to carry
Perhaps one day we could even marry?
I want you on my big ugly feet
With you my life will feel so complete.
Say you will be mine,
Yes I’m serious.
I’m beginning to sound friggen
Delirious.
Alyce, Alyce come and live with me
Together forever we will always be.
I would re-name Donna to Symone. They look amazingly comfortable and I’m thinking of getting a pair in both colours.
Cate ,I could wear these all day and night. They give me the support I need and a colour that matches my wardrobe
Donna – I’m sick of going out for a big night out and end up constantly saying “my feet hurt”. I feel like such a whinger when I’m really not, it’s just that my feet really do hurt sooooo much !!! I would love to dance the night away in a pair of Barb (used to be known as Donna) and feel like I am dancing on clouds
I think the Sara should be renamed the Jodi also am obsessed with all things Tan! I’m always on the lookout for stylish and comfortable shoes that I can wear all day while I make all my clients hair look beautiful and them feel fabulous and then runout the door to school pick up etc… I have loads of tan sandals but they are all flat so I would love to add these gorgeous heels to the mix ❤️
I think the Alyce should be renamed JULiE because they look so comfortable and stable plus stylish. I have knee problems and I know that the FRANKiE4s are just divine, as I wear my ELLiEs 3 – 4 times/week depending on commitments, I also have a pair of CHLOEs from last year that I absolutely adore and 2 other styles that are no longer available. Besides, it is my birthday on 5 September, so what better present than another pair of FRANKiEs….lol.
The ‘Alyce’ should be renamed the ‘Robyn’. My soles need saving as after years of cancer treatment, I can no longer suffer unstable or uncomfortable shoes. The triple-density footbed of Alyce will make them a reliable favourite from day to night.
Jazz it up FRANKiE4 and change Steph to Miss Deb – because these shoes are made for walking – and that is just what I would do. My little feet would love the comfort of these gorgeous looking shoes. Go on FRANKiE4 do it!
Sara as they’ve stolen my heart! Such a versatile shoe to take me from work to running around after my family . I deserve comfort and style, these shoes tick the boxes for me.
I love ❤️ ‘Alana’ but if Frankie called those gorgeous shoes ‘Joy’ then everyone would be able to share in the ‘Joy’. Xxx
Forget them changing the name of the shoe, I’m considering changing MY name to Sara – love the plaited leather!
Sara tan would be better known as Jo Tan. I spend too long in my shoes so need some comfort heels. I’d style these up for summer dressed up nights out or down and teamed with casual jeans. So versatile and flexible. Come at me Jo Tan, aka Sara!
Alyce should be renamed Lauren as I don’t think I’ll ever take them off! They will take me from lunch with the girls, to dinner with the husband, to chasing my two young children around and to a full day on my feet at work (an extra bit of height over those school kids never hurt anyone!) They will go perfectly with every outfit- I can see them with maxi skirts, floral spring dresses, and will be a great way to jazz up my old favourite – jeans and a t-shirt. Love love love them!
Sara renamed to Yvonne looks stylish but a bit of a softy with a good sole.
Alyce should become Amanda. My nurses feet cry out for comfort but my new mum feet deserve a little bit of pizzazz
Alyce needs to become Alycen (a great compromise…no need to spell it Allison). I love the tan. I wear navy, pinks and creams and love to complement these colours with the neutral tan. And tan matches my handbags!
Donna would save my hard working feet. My feet are not very glamorous, yet they take me everywhere in life – bunions, orthotics and all! Therefore I would rename Donna to “Debra Joy” … joy from the feet up.
Brooke in tan/champagne. The ‘champagne’ got me… I’m always in a mood for some sparkles! The Brooke is such an easy-going everyday style to wear with shorts, skirts, dresses and summer pants. And they’re definitely missing from my spring/summer shoedrobe! Oh and yes – please re-name to ‘Sparkling Kutira’. Thank you!
Steph.I cannot wear anything without a strap and I love a classic shoe that takes you from day to night.Nude matches everything and the slight heel gives a little boost without making you walk like a baby giraffe.
BROOKE Black/Spot – love the trifecta of black, tan and a splash of white to jazz up KATE’s casual outfits this summer! Now I’ve experienced the quality of FRANKiE4 footwear, I just can’t go past the comfort of the functional footbed and the flexibility of the adjustable ankle strap on this style is another big plus. So hard to choose just one though!
Alyce Black. Its a little bit sexy and a little bit cruisey! Perfect for performing at gigs. They can go anywhere! My soles need saving and these heel all wounds.. including my floating bone which means support is a MUST
Sara in Tan – I rarely wear heels since having kids & leaving my corporate job. I’m sure I could do housework, groceries & the park in them. Love my Frankie joggers so these would be a party for my feet on a school day!
Steph because I’m returning to work from maternity leave and I need a comfy, all day heel for my painful post-pregnancy feet!
Cate doesn’t need to be renamed as she is just perfect as she is. I’ve seen her hanging around with Nikki and I know we will become best friends. We will be seen shopping together, going to the movies, working hard and on holidays because she’s versatile and fits in different situations. Like all good friends Cate will be supportive and give me a boost to look tall people in the eyes. Cate will help me pack light for my upcoming holidays, something I haven’t mastered yet. I know Cate will compliment my existing clothes and strongly encourage me to purchase that lovely blue and white striped top to go with my jeans and those gorgeous floral dresses I have been eyeing off for the summer months. People will see us as a team, going places with style and getting many comments and compliments. So perhaps a team name, Catniss (Cate’n’S), the hero the world needs.
The MADDiE in Tan should actually be called Jess (the perfect mum style shoe). A low heel is perfect for this busy stay at home mum. I have 2 boys (mr 1 and mr 3) and I am on my feet a lot! My doctor recommended a pair of Birkenstocks to help with foot pain. The designs are nowhere near what these are. I need to save my feet if I will be any good to my boys. So I will continue to wear my less stunning Birkenstocks and try my luck at winning a pair of these super cute Jess (Maddie) shoes. Perfect for Spring. Thanks for the chance. Mwah!
Sara should be renamed to Chelsea because they are my go to style of shoe whether it be shopping, dinner or the movies they’re my kind of shoe! Plus they go with anything!
Steph in black should be renamed to Gemma (even though there is a fantastic pair of boots with this name which may end up in my wardrobe). I work standing up all day in a bank and would love a pair of super comfortable heels to help this shorty become a bit taller – let’s just say the customer service counter at my work is DEFINITELY not made for short ladies like myself. They would be stylish and allow me to get out of the flats and back into heels!
Steph in nude should become Jacky, her style, height and beautiful shape will suit my legs and feet wonderfully, the soft gorgeous colour will go with so many of my spring and summer outfits. She’ll give me confidence that I look good whatever the occasion from my son’s upcoming country wedding to surviving the upcoming “standing only” business meetings that are all the rage.
The Sara in tan should be renamed to my name of Marguerite because she is the elegant ‘PEARL’ amongst this lovely bunch of shoes in my opinion and je l’adore!! The ‘Marguerite’ in tan would make me forget I have a foot with plantar fasciitis, give my short self some height with comfort and style, go with just about all of my summer wardrobe, and take me anywhere I’d like to go!
Sara in tan should be renamed Janelle! This is because I have two completely different sized feet. Sara’s ankle strap not only looks good but would hold my ‘little foot’ in place all day long. Not only is the strap completely necessary but the tan colour would ensure that no one would really notice the difference between my feet. The Sara would have people talking about the magnificent ability to wear a heel all day long, in complete comfort, no matter what your feet need.
Steph style needs to be mine! Rename them Robyn as Savvy and chic but smartly comfy it is pure me and I want them! Both colours, all colours would see me through the day of meetings and paperwork and on for whatever is after
Sara tan should be renamed Tamra. I need a heel in my life that I can wear for the whole day. Every heel I own I can only wear for a few hours, but Frankie4’s are amazing (well I know their flats are). So I would love this to try for work (teacher) and a few weddings I have coming up.
Sophie in black reptile should be called Leone. Those shoes look so comfortable and light, but with great support. My toes would be twinkling all summer.
Steph in black should be renamed Nicola! I have just returned to full-time work after 24 years & I need some smart heels (with enclosed toes – work regulations!) to see me through my first summer at work, not lazing around relaxing!
The Margie in Latte is the new Sarah.
Why..
I need these strappy flats in my life.
I wear thongs too often which are killing my feet.
I have sore bunions on both feet.
They are all me.
Lilli is the new Tracy
A quick fix
To make casual chic
I know it’s wrong
But I live in thongs
To get through my busy week
But with Lilli on my feet
My outfits will be lookin’ sweet
The Alana – all of that hidden support in a strappy outfit sounds just like me!
The Maddie. It’s comfy, classic and wearable…just like me!
Rename Hilary to Kathy! As a Travel Blogger and intrepid traveller I do some kilometres when I’m seeing the sights of a new destination. My feet need the support and comfort of these eye-popping slip-on shoes, rather than the normal thongs I wear during my holidays to places with a warm climate. I like the metallic range of colours and the fact that these shoes could be dressed up or down according to what you’re wearing and where you’re going. I could easily see myself slipping into these stylish shoes of an evening for drinks and dinner at a beachside bar. My feet would love me forever!!
Sara should be renamed Tanya! They are simply divine with great style, stacked heel, plaited detail and perfect height and comfort all packed into one very stylish package!
Cate is simple and elegant, great for work or out afterwards. Love the under foot stability and triple-density functional footbed is exactly what my poor feet need!
The Chloe in Champagne,
The colour combinations would be insane!
No shoe clashing at all,
And with that cushioning my soles will have a ball.
The Alana’s because I love heels and the way they look but they are often times so uncomfortable I can’t wear them as much as I like. My husband shakes his head at me every time we go out for dinner and can’t get a park close enough so that I have to try and walk in my heels. The stylish Alana’s would serve me well because they could be dressed up for going out but also dressed down for casual and beachwear. They would be perfect for me, definitely should be called the ‘Sarah’s’ [email protected]
The “Alana” needs to be renamed the “Carolyn” because as I’ve creeped into my late 40’s I’ve had to give away all my ‘ankle-breakers’……. but I still want to wear something a little sexy 🙂
You’ve gotta change the ‘Nat’ to the ‘Rachel’ because it’s perfect for anything the weekend throws at you and with my kids I need all the support I can get!
Alyce (Black) can be renamed Wendy as everyone needs a Wendy wedge in their wardrobe.
The Cate black should be named Kim because it is part of my work attire that I wear to death, so much so that I have run my soles to the ground.
Sara should be Penny! I love these and would wear them with everything and everywhere.
Salli
elegance, style
walk in my shoes comfort
practical boot for delicate feet
Vivien
Please save my soles, would love to wear heals without the pain. Emma has a nice ring to it and I could see it used for the Sara.
Sara should be changed to Shandell, if I could choose it to be,
Her plaited leather and 65mm heel, are a winner to me!
A versatile shoe that comes in tan or black,
Once it’s on your foot, you’ll never look back!
Arch and heel support are a necessity for sure,
Frankie4 has too many choices, I want them all!
SARA really should be renamed JUDI. I would live in these shoes; they’d take me from work to drinks and walk home every time. Please, please, please pick me…..JUDI !!!
Steph should my namesake, Because what a statement these shoes make! Remind me of my tap dancing shoes, with these on I’d dance and cut some moves!
Changing the BROOKE to KATE would be perfect for summer. Although it’s not part of the new range; it looks fun, summer-y and a perfect for my summer staple outfits of shorts, basic tee and blazer.
Alyce…such a beautiful name and elegantly styled for any occasion in Qld, but really needs to be changed to TINA so that her sole can be saved, because as the song goes…living next door to Alyce, Alyce ? who the **** is Alyce??
Changing DONNA to DENISE involves only three letters, how easy is that? Donna would make my outfit feel complete no matter what clothes I was wearing. They’d even get an outing or several in winter here in brissie. Cue Ritchie Valens: “Oh Donna….”
DONNA should be renamed as KRISTIE. In real life, Donna is my sister in law. As colleagues, she told me I have to meet her brother and now I am married to him. She would save my soles by transforming this flip flop wearing Mummy into a carefree errand running Cinderella with no need for Dr Scholl or tootsie massages to follow. Ahhh DONNA, my angel in real life and my foot saving angel for Spring!
I would rename Sara to Elly because I can see myself wearing them in summer whilst carrying my first baby and looking sexy!
I think I would rename Sara heels to Janelle.. Because everyone needs a bit of “Janelle”in their life!
Frankie4’s Brooke Black/Spot should be renamed Sharon as they are comfy and a little wild (like me!)
Sara to Meryl. Because Meryl (Streep – my namesake) is sleek, stylish and ageless. I, on the other hand, am 43 with neuromas, chronic plantar fasciitis and a long term back injury which has meant I haven’t wirn high heels in 22 years…until Sara, I mean MERYL slips onto my feet.
Cate black to Cleo black for comfort and style , easy to slip on and allow my feet to breathe in spring/summer. Feeling elegant and feminine with a sophisticated edge.
The Sara needs a name change to the Eloise. I love a sandal with a mid heel to get me through long hot work days looking professional and put together. I will wear those Sara’s so much they may as well be renamed after me!
Like most of us my life is busy and comfort is paramount. Style is important to me and the Steph in the nude would be the most comfortable, yet on trend shoe which could take me to work or out and about. This shoe definitely should be crowned the ‘Kris’.
Sorry Nikki, but we obviously share style sense. The black NIKKI would be a perfect NARELLE for work or social elegance in Summer.
Donna should be Karli. Sturdy and basic enough to be worn every day but a little bit unique and fancy. Basic and Fancy – I’m a complicated woman.
STEPH in Black because my ANKLE is the ARCHenemy of my HEEL because it has a SOLE that cannot TOE-the-line or keep IN-STEP. SOS
What a great comp?
The Cate should actually be called the Karen. She looks stylish at work but is the one you reach for whenever you need to get things done. The Karen lets you run around all day (in ever decreasing circles if required) whilst looking good and working hard. The Karen is definitely a work horse who you’ll love having on your team or your feet cos she will always make YOU look good!
Black SARA’s should be renamed Bec. They are the perfect summer shoe for me. The plaited leather gives them an stylish yet boho feel. All the Frankie goodness makes it easy to teach all week and socialise all weekend, in comfort! (Lucky they come in two colours I think they’ll be all I need)
The Maddie Black spot to “Retta” who always unleashes a party animal from the inside and when I wear the renamed Retta it would show on the outside as well and allow me to dance all night long…
Margie needs to be renamed Suzy as I’m about to be run off my feet! Returning to full time study next month, mornings will be running kids to daycare and school, running to catch train to get to class on time and repeat in the afternoon!
The ASHLEY Black Oily Nubuck needs to be renamed the Gabriella purely because its very versatile like me – perfect for work, drinks and date nights.
The IZZY Tan from hereon shall be named the ABBY Tan. Reason being I need to get a step up in life and these are the perfect beginning.
The GEMMA Tan needs to become the RYAN Tan as just like yours truly its smooth and sleek, and delivers the goods.
The Alyce in navy would be my pick! My makeover (name change to KeRRie) would include putting a longer ankle strap and velcro closure on for all of the cankled girls out there who swell up even further in the feet after a few hours standing on them. Velcro also makes the breath holding and gut sucking-in moments easier when you are bending over to adjust/do up the ankle strap.
Definitely the SARA should become the new deBBie as they’re super stylish – but it’s a hard choice between black or tan! As a real estate agent we have to present well even when walking around peoples gardens, so the SARA (deBBie) heel is perfect for not sinking into lawns! And I can see probably the tan blending in with all my spring outfits. Currently own a pair of NAT cream and it was hands down the best purchase decision ever….heading to the website to order the HILARY Silver for October Bali trip
The Black KeLLy (aka NiKKi) <3 I'm in my final few months of my teaching degree and I'm desperate for stylish COMFORTABLE shoes for the classroom. I love heels and I feel the KeLLy will meet my needs for style and practical shoes. They will also be absolutely perfect with a fancy frock for my university graduation ceremony on the lawns of University of New England in October 2018. And for those many celebratory dinners!
The Tan Lisa (nee Alyce) have been renamed because they’re a stylish wedge I can dress up for work or a night out and down for a casual trip to the markets. As a teacher I’m on my feet all day and up and down to get in touch with these gorgeous 6 year olds. I need shoes that can keep up with me (and them) while keeping me feeling stylish and feminine! Save my soles… and my husband’s hands (as reluctant masseuse).
Ooh, tough choice. The SARA should become the EMiLY because I wore my tan strappies to shoe death last summer. They didn’t last long at all – I need some FRANKiEs to last more than a season!
Thanks for hosting the comp. good luck to everyone! x
the style called Donna , changed to my name Lisa .love to make a statement these shoes do .
Change SARA to SiDONNiE,
It was meant to be.
I’m a paediatric nurse,
Who loves the kiddies.
I have plantar fasciitis from 12 hour shifts,
But Frankie4 footwear have been such a gift.
I spend my days in flat shoes but then lately,
SARA has caught my eye and screams “Pick me!”
If i don’t win a pair then that is ok,
I’ll try and grab a pair, come next pay day!
Donna to be renamed to Fiona. In memory of my dad who is no longer with us who loved to see me all prettied up. AND of course comfort is a must.
Chloe is my choice for a name change to Jayne as they are anything but plain. I live in Ariat horse boots everyday and with a bit of black polish wear them everywhere but these sandals might just tempt me to change my ways and polish my toe nails
I don’t like to expose my feet so the SALLi Black really needs to be renamed Kimmo’s Black
Donna in black needs to be renamed to Camille because they will become a semi-permanent addition to my feet this Summer!
In my job as a marriage celebrant I am on my feet all day (& need arch support and forefoot cushioning), often on unstable surfaces like grass, rocks and vineyards (so stiletto heels are a NO go) AND I have to look well-groomed and elegant while doing it.
Thank you for saving my soles this Summer, FRANKiE4!
The Aylce become Danielle! Wow I’m so excited how many heels they have for this spring-summer. I saw you wear them in your Instagram photos in the Greek islands and I have been waiting for their release, checking the website maybe each day! As a nurse I’m on my feet all day, so my choices in shoes need to be comfort, comfort, comfort all the way. But to have style and comfort is amazing.
the donna should be changed to Jenni although that could get confusing as they already have some called that but maybe elizabeth (second name) as I can’t seem to wear particularly high shoes anymore but would like the modern look without breaking my back
The Sara should be called the Petra. A couple of months ago I bought my first pair of FRANKIE4 shoes (Jazz boots) and have worn them religiously to work. I teach Hospitality so I walk and then walk some more. My feet are no longer sore, no blisters – nothing when breaking in the shoes. But amazingly my ankles, knees, and hips aren’t either. Woohoo! I had just accepted poor quality for too long. So now I have my work week sorted it’s time to get back out there with some heels and Sara (or should I say Petra) fits the bill perfectly.
Margie, as I am on my feet a lot at work for the day and need that arch support! I have a bunion so closed in shoes can get painful, whereas these ones are roomy and cushiony soft…..delightful and pretty too.
Hmmm… tough choice as they’re all soooo pretty, but thinking practically in order to possibly actually for once try & wear a pair of heels over 3.5 – 4cms in height for the first time in 15 years without crying would be absolutely amazing! Ever since sustaining an injury to the sesamoid bone in my right foot, heels had become a distant memory so I’d have to say the ALYCE should be given the KLARA sore foot seal of approval! 🙂
The DONNA should change to KATIE! I love wearing tan shoes in summer, and that contrast strap makes them so much more interesting. I have several pairs of FRANKIE4 shoes, and they’re all perfect for my plantar fasciitis.
I love ALEX Champagne shoes from FRANKiE4 and I would renamed Sonia . ALEX Champagne shoes ( Sonia) have magnificent laser cut detailing and famous FRANKiE4 support designs with superior leather quality. Sonia has perfect wardrobing solutions for my favourite fitted pants and silk Kaftans. My feet would feel comfortable and happy.
The Chloe should be called the Karina because with sore cracked heels like mine, I need something comfortable, stylish and covers up my ugly heels.
SOPHIE II BLACK SPOT should be renamed as Indika. I could imagine them wearing to my son’s school and other mums asking me where I got them from…:) looks comfy, casual and funky.
Donna “becomes” Alison – you flatter me with your neutral colouring and sooth my soul with your soft embrace! It’s love at first sight…….
The new spelling of is Cate is Carla – trust me,
I’m a Kindergarten teacher.
I love my job, there’s lots of laughter and play
but it means I’m on my feet all day.
It’s hard to find shoes that don’t rub or pinch
but in FRANKiE4s it’s sure to be a chinch.
At school there’s no time to be cranky,
so come this Spring/Summer in my new ‘Carla’ by
FRANKiE4 I would be so happy and look mighty swanky.
DONNA, smonna! It’ll be mEgan giving these heels a real life every weekend in spring and summer!
hAna is the new CATE! Because no matter how much I love my Frankie boots I can’t wear them all summer! Hello toes!
Lower back issues coupled https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/117e1f0f6de7e96f238330b065988325805981ea208ccfbda79b186b1a213cc6.png with wide and flat feet had me convinced that a heel was now out of the question – then my niKKi’s came along and changed my #footlife My faith in fashionable heels had been restored! So SARA you and your gorgeous plaited ankle strap and heel are now very welcome in my #shoelife but you will now be known as kYlie!!
I think Alyce Tan definitely needs to be renamed Tammy . It looks like it would be me all over . Being a blonde with green eyes I definitely go for more the autumn tones in clothes and this would suit my wardrobe beautifully. The heel looks a perfect height for me to do my hairdressing in as they are raised at the front which makes the foot not so angled . After having 5 children and working my feet need a lot of tender loving care and because of my beautiful pregnancies and my job I have a lot of surface veins in my legs , so tend to wear a lot of maxi dresses in summer . These would be perfect to give my 5ft 2″ frame a boost to wear with these dresses day and night . Would certainly wear these a lot .
Flats just don’t make the corporate cut and work life is becoming hell on heels. Sara become Jules and save my 40 something year old poor sore soles!
Hello tan DONNA – I am renaming you HELEN! You are so beautiful and I know we would become best friends and go to work together most days. I work at a school and a 2nd campus so we would do a lot of walking. And the absolute best part of this new friendship is that you will keep my feet so fabulously comfortable. I absolutely LOVE your 65mm mid sized heal and cross over ankle strap. When you come to live at my home you will be so happy to see some of your sisters here – there are a few of you already living here in my home. Your specially designed footbed will be so comfortable to help me with all my walking around PLUS the best bonus ever is you look SO gorgeous for work or going out. We will have such a wonderful life together. I cant wait for you to come to my place 🙂
Sorry Sara but you need to be a Tanya! Currently traveling around Aus for 12 months in our caravan with two small children and these shoes would be a life saver for my ‘campers feet’ even after a pedi at Cable Beach resort and spa. We are currently in Broome and had a last minute invite to a VIP tent to Broome cup and these shoes would have been perfect! Looking forward to a few more last minute invites to fancy events and shoes to go with it!
The Alyce would definitely be a fit for me, I would love to see these renamed Belinda! Living on the beautiful Sunshine Coast these would be the perfect shoe for summer and I’d live in these all summer long.
The Jackie is the new Cate! Smart, sassy and unique chic!! Comfort with a sprinkle of elegance!
I am already luck enough to share my name with a Frankie4 boot – the Salli – so perhaps it’s time to rename the Sara after Carmen y daughter. She needs to learn to walk in heels and this will be a perfect “learner” shoe – just need a couple of L plates on the heels!
I would love Alyce to be renamed Danita. Having severe plantar fasciitis now for almost 12months I know the right footwear is a must! So excited to have found a shoe range that I can wear.
Either Sara or her sister Donna need be renamed JiLL,
Please send her my way as my feet are making me ill.
Plantar Fasciitis and lower back pain are both droll,
I just know if either magnificence found my feet,
they would definitely SAVE my SOLE!
PS: I promise not to change my day job
So sorry Donna, but I think you should be known as Shelle!!! After having successful hip surgery, I now am ready to step out in heels for work after 12 months of wearing supportive flat shoes. The Shelle is suitable for wearing all day through spring and summer and will make me feel more professional yet be so comfortable.
Sara to Rebecca pretty please! Love the plait detail. A perfect mix of boho casual meets smart and dressy. Love ❤️
Ohhhh Steph where have you been all my life? I spend every day walking the corporate line, trying to look stylish whilst remaining comfortable. I think you should be re-named Clara ( a stylish version of claire!)
The JULES is the new Donna! Recent knee surgery and existing ankle injuries creating ongoing problems create even bigger dilemmas when it comes to dressing up with limited footwear choices to accomodate them. Going to the races in flat shoes? No thank you!! Hello Jules..what a versatile shoe that would go with just about anything and everywhere and offer great support.. much like me! I’d get them in both the tan and the black for exactly that reason for the upcoming spring/summer season.
Oooh those Alyces. They (should) have my name written all over them! I’m generally pretty heel-phobic, but my other pairs of Frankie4s tell me that times have changed. That heels don’t have to be uncomfortable any more. That I need to move on. And that those Alyces could be THE ONES to ease me gently into the lofty thinner atmosphere breathed by other high heel wearers.
Sara needs to be re-named ‘Shannon’. I’d wear these day and night all season and I’d need to add both colours to my shopping cart!
The Cate are just perfect as they are and don’t even need to be renamed. I have already bought these in Black and would probably buy in tan except I an still so in love with my Tan Nikkis’ from last year. Definitely love my namesake FRANKIES!!
The Alyce should be renamed Jade, the height of the wedge could help me out of my under 160cm height bracket, comfortable and easy to wear tick for school drop offs and then for my resort holiday booked for February.
I would love the LiLLi in black to be renamed the LuLu just for me. Living in the tropics this flat looks cool, casual, summery and oh so stylish. Perfect for me!
The Sara should be renamed Joh. As a High School Deputy Principal I need to look professional and polished, but also ready to run! These comfy heels would allow me to do both.
Chloe in champagne should definitely be called Marie as they would suit my troublesome feet perfectly. Not too high & super comfy low wedge heel that i can see myself wearing for many hours without any pain or discomfort from my bunions. Perfect colour as well t o complement my spring wardrobe & a pretty change from my mostly black winter shoes & boots
The Donna heels should be renamed to Lisa they look amazing and wearing orthotics everyday in what feels like a Nanna shoe this would be a game changer my feet would be having there own party. Love Frankie 4’s.
The SARA heels should be renamed to my name, which would be super easy – just add an ‘h’! These shoes look amazing and would fit in with my day to day wardrobe perfectly. Can’t decide which colour though so may need to save up for both!
The SARA heels should be renamed the MiCHELLE as I NEED a new pair of heels! I have Fibromyalgia and plantar fasciitis and live in my SOPHiE’s (I literally have a SOPHiE tan mark on my feet!), but really need a comfy pair of heels for meetings and going out, and these would be perfect. I used to hate shoe shopping as I could never find anything comfy and stylish, but FRANKiE4 have fixed that problem 🙂
The “Alyce” in Navy has “Luscious Lani” writen all over them.
It’s casual, carefree, chic summer strutting attire.
I think the Alyce would do well renamed the LouLou!. I love how it looks and my feet have withstood 43 years of solid nursing wear and tear. They could do with a wee bit of pampering with a whole lot of style. Just love the design of this shoe.
Cate would look sensational as Sam, looking fab with jeans, skirts or dresses for our gorgeous Spring weather. My aching plantafacitis suffering feet would be so ever grateful!
Brooke in Tan/ Champagne, casual and easy to wear plus Cindy isn’t a bad name for a sandal
OMG, Alana needs to now be Tanya, in Blush. Young kids = so few chances to be glam, but these will save my soles on a romantic trip away to Margaret River with my hubby for our 10th anniversary. These shoes are just divine!!
Definitely the DONNA to JANiNE! I love the tan and have several Similar FRANKiE 4 styles, but the heel takes it to a new class level. Yes please!
Well I’m lucky enough to already have a Frankie4 shoe in my name (and lucky enough to own a pair too!) but if I were to re name a shoe it would be the Steph. It’s the perfect shoe for me to wear at work to look professional and stylish yet I know I will be comfortable as I’m on my feet most of the day. (And I apologise to my best friend Steph in advance that I’m trying to steal her namesake shoe! )
I I think the Alyce should be renamed the Shelley. My feral feet would look super in those espadrille stunners & my bodgy back would be thanking me for such cushions of comfort!
Clearly the Alyce was merely an auto correct for Anita! This gorgeous sandal is exactly what I need this summer – height without sacrificing comfort. As soon as Nikki said she walked so far in them, I knew they were the missing star player from my (currently conservative) wedge collection.
Oh my goodness Alyce is speaking directly to me. Without a doubt she should be called Tracey!!! No that’s a bit boring let’s call her Trixie!!! She sounds more fun. And she is definitely fun. I’ve been blessed with my fathers bunions (oh I can barely say it out loud). Anyway comfort and a wider front strap are my best friend. I too would like to walk 7km in the beautiful Alyce. But what colour to pick. One of each and I would be glamorous and happy all summer!!❤️☀️
Not just a shoe but the whole company should be renamed ‘Frankie 4 Megan’ and emblazoned on a tree in a love heart (arrow an optional extra). My poor immune compromised arthritic feet have been resisting stepping away from heels every day due to corporate/professional vanity but the pain has become too bad and we have hit crunch time. Two weeks ago I ordered nude Steph and I am DONE with any other brand! Got Nikki too for casual wear but wishing hard for more corporate styles so I don’t have to wear the same pair 5 days a week – so many ideas that I want to submit for shoes that would be stylish and office appropriate so that I don’t have to hobble anymore and can look like 42 not 102!!!!
Fingers and toes 🙂
Kate in tan really needs to be renamed to the Joey! I have just brought this in black and now really need it tan too, as my feet just love, love, love this look and style. Can’t imagine getting through a work day with these beauties on my feet!
Kate (in Black) speaks to my soul, stylish for both season and not too high that my soles will be in agony as in my job I’m on my feet all day
Sara really needs to be renamed the Shani ASAP! I can already see them adorning my feet at every chance; I can confidently say, they’d go with every outfit I own. If only I’d had a pair of Shani’s on my feet last month when I went to Monte Carlo, my poor feet would have been saved from the blisters the size of 50cent pieces and I wouldn’t have had to hobble around France like an old lady.
I’m so in love with the Chloe in black, I’d be tempted to change my name to Chloe, rather than rename the shoe Cheree! I live in my Frankies every summer, and they’ve travelled the world with me – it’s time to give a new pair a little adventure. Maybe we can merge our names and become Chleree? or Chloee?
I think Cate should be renamed Vicki these are so cute!
Can the Hilary be renamed the Melinda please? I NEED these for our hot QLD summers, to let my feet breathe, but without looking (and feeling) too casual in thongs. I can’t do thongs, I need structure! And I doubt there has ever been a shoe named Melinda, it’s not that common a name!
The ALYCE should be renamed ALiSON. Love wedges for their casual feel and after having children feel like I’m always in my active wear. I would love to wear these shoes on my holiday to gold coast soon walking the theme parks as well as all summer long.
Donna needs to be re-named to Lynette, these stylish and wonderful shoes would get plenty of loving wearing all summer with any outfit and occasion.
The Sara should be called ‘Tracy’ because these heels were made for me to walk in everyday and into the night. My feet need the cushion shoe of a podiatrist and Physio design. Frankie4 shoes are good for my sole!
Sara needs to be renamed KELLiE. I can see me living in the tan KELLiE (see what I did there 😉 ) this summer!
I would steal the Sara and rename it to Tracey, as it would be my go to stylish partner all summer long
The MADDIE should be the Emily!
They look perfect as a casual and work shoe, ever since having children I covet heels but rarely wear them – these flats are gorgeous!!
Look, I absolutely adore ‘Donna’, she’s great fun, versatile and stylish but you simply can’t go past ‘Kelly’.
These shoes are perfect for the warmer weather, can be dressed up or down and like all FRANKiE4 Footwear, super comfy. After many years in the wrong shoes, my feet are crying out for some T.L.C. and some super styling. Thanks Nikki for the photo shots too, it helps to visualise how these shoes look on a model.
If I had my way, ALANA would be renamed Nicoll! Despite being tall, I LOVE heels and could wear them all day, every day. Frankie4 make it so easy because all their shoes are so comfortable! When I first saw NICOLL (Alana, hehe) in blush I was instantly smitten and as soon as they were available in my size I ordered them for an upcoming special occasion, where I’ll be on my feet all day. They arrived yesterday and are SO beautiful, and more importantly SO comfortable! I will have a problem waiting to wear these. But that’s just the start of my obsession – looking through all the new styles there are so many fantastic options – even some flatties (who am I?!) like LILY who I’d love to become acquainted with!
Email address is [email protected] 🙂
The ALYCE should be called Christine! I have had surgery on both knees and have not felt confident wearing heals. This is about tl change when I receive my new favourite shoe Christine (Alyce). The wedge will give me the height I miss and the wedge will support my Sole all the way to the top of my head. Love the colours too!
I think that the SARA should be renamed Colesté. I am not much of a heel wearer at all (I have the best intentions but they are all just far too uncomfortable) so I think that these babies would be perfect for me ! Not to mention the great change they would be from my dirty steel cap work boots – and probably more comfortable as well !!
The only shoes that I seem wear at the moment that don’t hurt my feet are my converse flats, which just are not cutting it when it comes to attending dinners/BBQ’s and parties this spring/summer season ! The COLESTE really would save my sole !! 😛
oops … sorry! AfterPay?
Sorry Alyce you might be renamed Danielle 🙂 Summer/Spring is a time to get out and about which is what I can see myself doing in these shoes. I can so easily see myself wearing these beauties as I run around organising my household of lads Then at night time, these would so easily transition to a pair that could be worn out for a catch up drink with the girls.
As a Nurse my feet have already benefited from the sole saving FRANIKE 4 comfort but I definitely need a pair that I can wear when I am not at work.
DONNA should be renamed CARMEL.
These shoes would really save my sole by keeping me honest! I’m known to be a little lazy in the fashion stakes but DONNA would look so stylish on, that I couldn’t help but up my game with the rest of the outfit!!
I have a reputation for choosing comfort over style … but these shoes tick both boxes! How cool is that!
A flattering neutral colour, they’d be perfect for many different outfits and occasions. A most valuable wardrobe essential.
They’d save my ‘sole’ AND my fashion reputation all at once. The basis of a total wardrobe upgrade.
I just took one look at the Features and knew that these are a style I’d happily wear all day long:-
“Podiatrist & Physiotherapist designed built-in triple density (wow!)
Functional Footbed!
Heel support, cradle and cushioning
Arch support
Forefoot cushioning
Leather upper
Leather lining
Leather lined footbed
Rubber sole
Adjustable buckle ankle strap
Stable heel
Height height: 65mm”

Oh wow Chloe should definitely be renamed Kate. Gotta love a sandal that is neutral and able to be worn during the day, but still dressy enough to be worn out to dinner. The low heel height is a must for me as well – with 2 youngs boys and dodgy hips, high heels aren’t really an option for me anymore and with the added benefit of all that support these would be perfect.
The Nikki in Black has my name all over it! Perfect classic style and comfort to save my soles from being dressed down in flat sandals or thongs all summer. They deserve some glamour and some Frankie4 footwear comfort.
Cate should be renamed “Tanya” … I’ve been backwards and forward to Manila this year where it’s always hot, hot, hot…My feel swell and my back aches from the walking and the humid weather…a comfortable but sexy pair of heels will make my time away from home living out of a suitcase MUCH more bearable!
The Sara should be renamed the Kylie!!! I desperately need something gorgeous yet practical to get me out of my SAHM dress rut!! These are just the answer, comfy, sexy & stylish! Love, love, love.
Maggie should be renamed Gordana! Perfect for spring-summer under a Cabana! Sole saving cool and calming, also like me they are extremely charming!
Hi Nikki, I love Chloe, especially in the Champagne colour, I wear a uniform and safety shoes 5 days a week all year round so these lovely shoes are the opposite to what i’m used too and a relief to get those heavy safety shoes off for the weekend and something light on my feet that is why the Chloe should be renamed Jenny and that is why my soles need saving.
My name is Catherine. I work 3 days a week in a uniform and sneakers. The other 5 days l love to dress up, no jeans and sneakers for this mum. I love a dress or skirt with a heel in the summer, even if l am only planning on venturing down to the local sports field. The reason being you never know who you are going to see and whose going to invite you for an impromptu catch-up or glass of wine. That’s why the Donna should be renamed the Catherine as its comfortable to wear every day and able to be worn to every occasion.
Hi Nikki. Thanks for another great comp! I’ve just turned 50 and have started work in a cafe, training as a barista (so exciting!), and did my first shift yesterday – and boy did my feet HURT! I’ve realised I need some really good quality and supportive shoes. The Sophie II Black Spot took my eye, as they would look really funky with my all black work outfit, plus they look super comfy. They could be renamed The Petra II Black Spot haha.
I loved the Victoria Black sandals.I can definitely picture these sandals on me.And because they have heel and sole support , my feet will thank me too!
Oh my the LiLLis have stolen my heart & should be renamed AMi! My soles have already been saved by Frankies and I would love nothing more than to enjoy a comfy Spring/Summer in these new slides!
Hi Nikki – Donna should be renamed Yasmin – it sounds exotic and mysterious – just like the shoe! It has a gorgeous heel with wonderful sexy straps and the mysterious part is the hidden comfort that Frankie4 offers…My soles need saving because as a larger lady I need a more stable heel to carry this exotic and mysterious body – and Frankie4 will save me and my soles!
The ALYCE will now be christened KATRINA! Perfect Summer Shoe!!!!
Since breaking my ankle and numerous rollovers I find it difficult to find a stylish yet comfortable heel that I can wear all day/night without any discomfort.
Sara to Emma. I sadly have no heels as I have a wide foot, so it’s great to see they have half sizes.
Wouldn’t it be nice if Alyce became Ali? Well it would for me. I barely take my Sophie’s off but Al(i)yce could tempt me out of flats and into heels. My soles not only need saving they need educating!
Defenitetly Cate. Comfy and stylish. Perfect for the office and for running around with my kids with style.
The ALYCE needs to be renamed the Alicia! As soon as I saw it I was in love and purchased the tan but I really must have the black in my life also!
Donna should be renamed as the Zoe! As a professional conference event manager, I often have to be first up at 6am, last to bed at midnight for two or three days in a row, and by the time we get to Gala Dinner night…. my feet are wanting to be in anything but heels, which are required for a black tie dinner. Donna in black would solve this problem and make me still look presentable at the Gala Dinner and most importantly with a smile still on my face. Zoe also is the Greek word for ‘life’, the perfect name for a shoe that injects a bit of life and comfort back into your feet! I love my Nikki’s but feel I need to add some ‘Donna’ (or should that be ‘Zoe’) into my wardrobe!
Donna for sure but better renamed Paula
I could be dancing in these kiss the aches and pains goodbye
Cate’s new name is Alicia. I struggle to find shoes that look good and are comfortable to wear. I think I might have found them!
Chloe should be Emma. Just perfect for summer. They would be perfect for work and play, my poor feet would enjoy them everyday…
Hi Nikki, CHLOE should be renamed INGA 🙂
My soles need saving because I need to take extra special care of my feet being a type 1 diabetic (for going on 35 years now!) I also have really high arches so arch support is a definite must! I love that FRANKiE4 shoes have built in forefoot cushioning, what a life saver…. or should I say a sole saver!
I would choose the Alyce to be named Carianne. I found out about Frankie 4 Footwear through the Styling You Instagram account. I broke my foot a few years ago in a few places and after 2 operations and a number of long months in a moonboot only some of the breaks have healed. I have been left with some nerve damage along with the two breaks so footwear has become very important to me. I love my high heels but can no longer wear them. Frankie 4 Footwear supply the style I love while offering support and comfort for my feet. They have been a great find.
Donna should be renamed Karyn! The letter ‘y’ makes nearly every name more interesting! I need a pretty, yet comfortable, shoe in my wardrobe as I have virtually every foot problem imaginable, and Frankie4’s are almost the only way I can get a pretty yet comfortable shoe!
The Sara’s should be renamed Holly!! I first heard about Frankie4 through Nikki’s website and have loved my boots all winter… I need something new for summer!!
Chloe in champagne would pop my cork this summer, so lets rename her Meli, and let my poor achy feet out of runners/orthotics this summer!
Oh my goodness ! Alyce needs to be renamed Kirsty! These shoes look devine and I know that they’re going to be just perfect for this summer whether it be work or play. Can’t wait to try on and add to my FRANKiE4 collection.
Alyce is for me – my last pair similar to this (another brand) had the entire sole snap off after only a few wears 🙁 so I am forever saddened by this. My soles need uplifting so I can get over this tragedy of my wedge sandals snapping underneath my feet. Please rename them Micaela!
Well sadly I’ve never been swanning around in heels for long as once I stagger from the car to the event that’s my feet done in. With a botched bunion op and another up for consideration I’ve spent 16 years looking great from top down but stopping at my feet. If I could wear them , I’d rename the Alana to the Elizabeth as they look nearly right to hold my feet in.
I’ve never experienced the comfort many rave about. Thongs just don’t quite cut it when trying to look glam.
Alana should be renamed Carol. They are an in trend style with the ankle straps but in a comfortable way that allows you to go from day to night in comfort
Alyce should be renamed Alison because I have walked up the Duomo in Florence in wedges & these fab Frankies would have been the entirely better option!
ALYCE is my fav – I seriously injured my foot and ankle before Christmas and I can honestly say without my Frankie4s (after reading about them here on Nikki’s website) I would have been down for the count – they look great, are long wearing and worth every penny – though it would be lovely to win some new sandals in time for spring/summer which feels like its already here! Thanks Frankie4 and Nikki!
Donna should be renamed…..Donna. Ironic as it may be, she’s deserves a place in my heart and on my feet. I keep ogling your Frankie4’s but have never tried any on, I admire online only. I need to get out there in the dating pool (for the first time in 20 years) so it’s going to take some stamina and support, both mentally and in the shoe department! I adore shoes with support and style – these definitely fit the bill.
Spring/summer footwear is always a gamble
What will look cute but still let me amble?
Will they blister, will they rub?
Will they wear the foot down to a nub?
I need something nice that won’t squish my toes
To pop on for work or on Insta to pose
Just one pair of shoes to wear to the death
Sorry, dear SARA, your real name is BETH
Paula is the new Cate. After hiding my cankles with jeans or boots for the last 11 years in my job, now we have to start wearing uniforms…..including a knee length skirt……and stockings. I haven’t worn stockings since the 80’s, let alone a short skirt. Kill me now 🙁
Alyce…but they should be CASEY! I’ll be getting towards the end of my pregnancy in Summer and I need a sensible option that I can wear with a maxi dress so I don’t look like a beached whale!!
Alyce you should be Emma-Kate so I can look down from a bit more of a lofty height all summer long and even though I’ll be working I can feel like I am walking the streets of Europe in my summer dresses!
ALYCE or should that be Belinda?! Always ready to dress up for poolside cocktails, swan around St Tropez and work my feet overtime. The Belinda would come to work with me and then off to Summer BBQ’s and Christmas parties. My last pair of espadrille style shoes wore out after too much use with the ankle strap and the rope bottom fraying. I had to throw them out as I kept trying to get just one more wear out of them. Thx Nikki x
Alyce because I love a wedge heel especially for my sons upcoming wedding which is outside, I don’t like that sinking feeling. But these will also be going on my upcoming cruise , I can’t wear many shoes with heels I have to go for a wedge. Infact I can see myself in these so much. I suffer from plantar fasciitis from running and there are very few brands of shoes I can wear , thank god I found Frankie4 no more granny styles .
Oh the Sarah should be renamed the Kym because I would wear it all summer (and let’s face it, I can wear it during Brisbane’s winter too). I rarely wear heels these days because my feet and lets hurt so much, but I feel a bit daggy in my flats or low heels. I’d love to bring back elegance and style – but with a lot of comfort as well.
Cate need to be renamed Kerri. I must confess I’ve let myself go a little in the heels stakes and on the odd occasion I put some on I’m quickly whimpering back to my flats. I think Frankie4’s might be the shoes to turn that around and the Cate’s (to be Kerri’s) are the style I simply swoon over!
Donna you should so be the Kristy! Did you know that I have saved my plantar fasciitis soles by wearing Frankie4 heels for the last 12 months? Previously I almost never wore high heels. Then I started running and ended up with plantar fasciitis. Physio, special exercises, orthotic inserts for my joggers – nothing really worked until I started wearing Frankie4 heels to work every day. It probably sounds weird, but it’s shifted all the weight to the front of the foot and given my heel a chance to recover. No more plantar fasciitis and now I’m hooked on heels! Thanks Frankie4.
My choice would of have to be to rename ‘Sara’. My soles need saving as I have had bunions repaired nearly 20 years ago, only to be told that the surgery will only last 20 years. I’m hoping with some great Frankie4 shoes I won’t need the surgery ever again!!
Too many decisions, but it’s got to be Donna renamed to Karina. When I was 37 (18 years ago) I bit the bullet and had surgery to have bunions on both my feet removed (at the same time I might add – if I was going to be laid up for one might as well do both). Best decision I ever made, but now thank God, podiatrist designed shoes that look fantastic and are amazing for our feet. Back then, the shoes I was supposed to be wearing looked like they were made for a 70 year old. Now we have a brand all about style and function. Yay
Donna has been my obsession since seeing her online yesterday, rename her to Karen and she will be mine forever.
Alyce? Alyce? Who the F is Alyce?! Pardon my French, but these amazing summer shoes should be called Trish because I would live in them and my feet will look stylish all summer long!!!
Donna should be renamed ‘LEE’ as I can see myself wearing these to work and when not working as well. They will also look great with Jeans and dressing up on weekends. They look very stylish and will look great with dresses and skirts ,making my short legs look longer.Frankie4’s have saved my feet I’m now the proud owner of 4 pairs of Frankie’s and would love to add these to my collection.!!
Sorry DONNA, you’re outta here! The stems on this Poppy are “sturdy”, so your cross-over ankle is very welcome here! I’m averaging more than 20,000 steps per day at the mo and not on good terms with my tootsies. Donna-be-sad feet, just Pop-py on some Frankie4s!
“Maddie” I need you, I’m a busy salon owner who is on her feet all day and needs shoes that make her feet sing….and these would be just perfect for me……so I say “Renate”, which means reborn, and all feet should feel like this at the end of everyday.
Donna is named after me!!!! My poor soles need saving!
I may only be a plain Jayne, but with a pair (Donna) Jayne shoes on my feet I’m sure I’ll be anything but!
Move over ALYCE… we’re not living in wonderland! HOLLY would be far more appropriate, and pair well with pretty boho skirts and dresses this spring and summer. This mumma of 2 (and soon to be teacher) needs some pretty yet comfy shoes to support me running around after my little ones, desperate for a tiny bit of style in my otherwise hectic days. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/65401f2694370a57a0fe887f918211a5d862082ed5dc8454d6d426fbe36ec6a6.jpg
I truly think Donna should be renamed to Holly. I am very very short (157cm) and I love to wear heels to give me just a little more height. Sadly I almost never wear them because I can never find a pair that is comfy enough! Without Donna (renamed Holly) I will always be doomed to be a shorty!!
Wah! There’s already a shoe in my name – NiKKi! But I love the Alana! A new job means I’d love some comfy heels to save my feet on the walk to work & leave a good impression on new colleagues!
Dare I say the NiKKi should be renamed BeKKi? The new Bekki in latte would compliment my wardrobe to a tea, (or coffee?). My three young boys have me on my feet running around everywhere these shoes would save my soles from mortal embarrassment while also maintaining their social standing and their fashion status would be strides ahead, all in comfort and easy!
Sara to “Sue” isn’t too much of a change!
I’m recovering from a broken ankle and a 65mm heel would give me, a 5’2″, a bit of height while being comfortable & kind.
I would love the Sara heels to be re-named ‘Kim’! I had totally stopped wearing heels because of the discomfort factor, but the Sara heels in either tan or black would be the perfect mix of comfort, height & style for me xx
They say names have power and are instinctual, ‘Cate’ do you want to be powerful, independent and free spirited,
re-born to be me ‘Navi’…..
Like all lovely women here and around me , I am a mother, wife , sister , daughter and an individual who’s feet needs to be well grounded to keep her shoulders up and head high and who better to partner with than my own ‘Navi’ ❤️
Lee should be the name of Sara! My “sole” needs saving because I love to party all night and these would be my saviour!
I think my suggestion is not only the most simple, but the most doable! All you have to do is add an H! And Sara becomes all mine: SaraH! I think I am already in love and have to have SaraH in tan and black for my work spring wardrobe. Its only my second Spring back in full time employment, last year my cheap sandals fell apart halfway through October… with SaraH, this will never happen. Plus I have finally learned the lesson my mum has been trying to teach me for years, if you find something classic that you love, buy it in two colours and you will get twice as much wear, this applies to handbags, smart trousers, blazers and most definitely SHOES!
The Donna should be renamed Karyn. I only wear flats because I find most heels are uncomfortable, I feel these high heels would save my soles! Add that height I need, glamour all girls need and when walking be comfortable. Bring on spring & summer. Yah!
Oh Donna you should most certainly be re-named Carmel! There would no outfit that you wouldn’t compliment fabulously and how comfortable you would be to wear day in day out. Frankie4 have stolen my shoe loving heart, I find I can walk for miles in these shoes and they are so supportive, gone are the days of my youth wearing uncomfortable and unsupportive shoes, Frankie4 are the bomb and will be a constant in my wardrobe, my feet love you!
Lily = Catherine, in Navy for sure.
Catherine = Lily, soles are happy evermore.
LiLLi would be renamed as Robin, I would love a casual flat that I could just slip on when I’m just going to do groceries, check mail, lunch etc. I can’t praise Frankie4 footwear enough, I have a bunion on my right foot and I have found it hard to find comfortable shoes to wear until I came across your blog and was intrigued by Frankie 4, so I went in and was fitted with my first pair of boots which I haven’t bought myself in soooooo many years as the ones I have tried in the past have always been to narrow. Thanks for the opportunity luck to all x
Oooops were we just supposed to chose the ones you are wearing above?? If so I would rename SARA as Robin
I love the Donna… I could wear her with summer dresses, out to lunch, picnics, and with work outfits to the office… She would have a new name as Paula…
Donna would be my go to footwear all Summer long. I don’t think of myself as short but my friends say I am and I’m shrinking as I get older!! So to wear a bit of a heel and to be comfortable will make me stand tall again. So I would rename her ‘Susan’. Very fitting I think.
I love the Donna & they could be renamed Mary – I love heels but only a little height for comfort! I have some Frankie 4 boots and love them ❤️
Donna, should be named after me, because I’m Number One! They a sexy and stylish, classy and fun. Perfect for a busy life on the run!
Alyce might consider a name change to Sue, cos she would be much loved. I have yomped around in Birks since I have had both knees replaced but time is now for a bit more glamour.
Sara would be named Diane because since purchasing Frankie4 footwear I consider them to be an investment and as I approach my 54th birthday, my personal journey this year, is all about investing time and effort to become the best person I can be for my family, my friends, my community and myself x
Alana would come into her own fabulously as the SUZiE! As a devoted heels girl, gorgeous style and comfort in the same sentence makes my feet flutter. A SUZiE in Blush would party, shop and run around all summer long while fitting in with just about every outfit in my wardrobe and save my soles as well. It’s love!
The Alana should be the ‘Jazz’ cos let’s face it she’s fun, flirty and definitely Jazzy! I’ve just ordered a pair and can see them as my Spring fling, my go to with all the pretty florals coming through.
No doubt, the SARA needs to be renamed the EMiLY asap! As a country gal, I wear boots all day but I love to get dressed up for race meetings and weddings and my NiKKis meant I was always the only girl still wearing heels by the end of the night (oh and the compliments aren’t so bad either)! The Sara would match beautifully with my tan shoedrobe, I can’t wait to wear her with party dresses, summer skirts and 3/4 skinny leg jeans when it starts to cool off.
I can’t wait to see the rest of the summer range but SARA is #1 on my need (not wish) list!
Cate should be renamed Monica. Can never find anything in this name, haha. The design is excellent for Melbourne weather. A great shoe for the casual office. The colours are perfect to blend in for transeasonal.
No need to rename …. I’ve found my namesake shoe …… I would absolutely love for “Donna” to join “Nikki” as my trusty heeled friends :)) I have been faithful to my Nikki heels since I first met them … with dresses & pants & jeans …. they really are a multipurpose heel – they do the fashionable job without question & then they perform their therapeutic role with ease …. almost like wearing a pillow top mattress on your feet !
Discovering Frankie 4 Footwear has been revolutionary 🙂
The Sara should be named Lucia , I think she would go with anything this Spring Summer with the gorgeous details especially in Tan . After years of standing on hard floors a chef it’s so nice to finally have a beautiful range of shoes
I believe the Sara should be called Joanne, it’s always hard to find a stylish and comfortable shoe that can be worn all day so that your feet and body don’t have some kind of complaint at the end of the day, or even when you first get up the following morning. It would be so nice to leave my home that still looks like a building site in a beautiful and stylish shoe, that will have me feeling amazing and polished other than a pair of thongs.
Alyce should be Angela. Angela likes to swan round in resort attire pretending she is on one long holiday with her style wedges. Angela has been eyeing up those wedges since she saw Nikki on holidays wearing them.
FRANKiE4 SARA should change her name to DEBORAH and come home with me. I just about did cartwheels of excitement when I got the email about spring release new shoes. I live every winter day at home and at work in my SALLi boots and I can’t imagine wearing any other brand for summer now. I work part time in an office and I have a toddler and the 65mm height is perfection! Get on my feet SARA!!
Do we have to pick just one!
If I have to pick a favourite it would have to be Alyce aka Catriona. Have wanted a pair of sandals like her for years but any I have tried on have been uncomfortable.
Sara could be called Kathryn, I am not a heel wearer of habit but these look like they have my name on them. My ankles roll in, and years of wearing Converse and Haiviannas have done a lot of damage. Love a bit of plaited leather, goes with my boho soul. I have just ordered the black Hilary, and a few weeks ago cream Nats. I’ve been wearing my Nats to work each day, and honestly the difference they have made to the pains in my feet and legs is amazing. They even survived one my little people dumping a bucket of sand on top of them – ‘made you a cake Kathryn <3' . My collection is growing, wish they made slippers too lol! Have a great weekend, and I love all your outfits in this post, especially the black and white frock x
Donna should be called Lisa because her namesake has serious knee issues and can only walk in mid height heels on special occasions.Donna/Lisa could come with me to 2 weddings of our nieces in November and December and make this chic Nana look stylish yet comfortable at these beautiful coastal wedding Venues!
The CATE should be renamed JO. They are exactly the shoes that I need. Ideal for work and play! Heels for work would be awesome. Thank you.
I’ve had bad back issues ever since I can remember which has curtailed me from every fun activity I used to enjoy from just walking to going out for a night on the town. Since buying my first pair of Nat’s in white my back has improved so much I can walk as far and as long as I want. Even the orthotics I had fitted didn’t help. I have purchased the Maddie in tan which I can’t wait to receive for my summer go to and the Sara in Black for some special outings coming up in the next couple of months. I’ve sent all my other shoes to lifeline as I now only need these staple shoes in my wardrobe. My back pain has lessened by 80% and more sometimes since I’ve discovered Frankie4 Nat’s and I think they should be named to Robyn. I intend on it being the only brand of shoes in my wardrobe.
The Donna in tan looks like my perfect heel, so it can be renamed The Diane! I have not worn heels for a few years now due to back pain issues but after buying a few pairs of Frankie4 shoes and flat sandals last year I have every confidence these heels will be the bees knees for me! I think the newly named Diane heels would be perfect for me to wear with my Camilla kaftan to my second wedding next year!
Sara should be Mandy. Love these. They would be my regular work shoe. I have plantar fasciitis (along with so many others) and Frankie4s help so much (plus they don’t look like Nana shoes.) They are starting to take over my Shoedrobe!
Sara should be Tracee because she’s a secretly fabulous shoe. She’s understated, elegant and secretly sassy. She can go anywhere, do anything and still have you feeling on top of the world at the end of the day. She’s that reliable one that has a versatility that others only dream of. [email protected]
Sara could change her name to Simone! I’m a nurse and mother of two who hasn’t worn heels for years – due to the associated pain! I bought a pair of Nikki’s this year and they are soooo comfortable. I plan on adding Sara to my summer wardrobe.
