There’s always room for one more pair of shoes

So, a couple of nights ago on the Justb. Facebook page I tackled one of life’s big issues: heels or flats?

I know, I know. I’m shallow like that.

From my experience women fall into one of three camps with this first-world wardrobe dilemma.

1. Flats only: nothing’s getting in the way of my personal comfort.

2. Heels only: comfort schmumfort.

3. All of the above and a bit in between: I need options baby

I confess, I do fall into the third category. My shoe-robe has everything from Havaianas through to teetering heels and a good supply of wedges and platforms to round it out for good measure.

What category do you fall into? Head on over to my post on Justb. to check out the five styles I think we all need in our shoe-robe this summer. And tell me, have you bought a pair of shoes this summer that makes you do a little happy dance?

  1. I used to have so many shoes I kept them in an old chest freezer box!! I got rid of them all when I moved overseas a few years ago… I was devastated!!!

Now all I have are my black Docs that I wear to work almost every day, a pair of black flip-flops, a pair of black heels with a front ruffle, a pair of awesome Demonia platforms with chains (yep, you guessed it – they’re black too!), a pair of red ballet flats that I bought to match a hair flower for this year’s Valedictory, and my runners (blue and white).

Oh… and my poor old blue fluffy slippers which are about 2 years past their best-before date… lol So maybe (back to your teacher gifts post) I should be asking for shoe vouchers?? lol

  2. Oh yes I have bought several shoes lately that I love, actually I have found my love for buying shoes again recently. They have all been flats/strappy sandals though, must be the kiddy/baby stage thing influencing my purchases. No need for heels at the swings!
