Feedback from presenting at the Problogger Training Event, October 2012:
5 Stand Out Speakers: I took reams of notes in every talk but some people deserve a special mention. I’ll explain why and although some of these things may not seem like blogging tips but they are. Let’s apply them to our blogs … Nikki Parkinson – For being smart, approachable and telling it like it is. Nikki is the ultimate myth buster for that stupid “dumb blond” thing. Nikki Parkinson was guest speaker at my September Red Hot Mastermind Event this year. She spoke on Blogging for Your Business and was a wealth of information for those attending. Being one of Australia’s top bloggers it was a huge privilege to have her there. Her knowledge on blogging and internet marketing is outstanding. Nikki presented in a relaxed, enjoyable manner and allowed our attendees to interact, asking as many questions as they needed to. Everyone left the room feeling excited and inspired to take our blogging to the next level for our business. Thanks Nikki for your brilliance, knowledge, expertise AND for being such a lovely person! Sue Murphy, Red Hot Events and Seminars
Nikki Parkinson Styling You was engaged by The Sunshine Coast Private hospital to speak with the front office and administration team on making that first impression count and to give them some tips both in their personal life as well as in their professional role within the hospital. The evening was great and the administration team are still talking about the information they gleaned from Nikki. There seems to be a lot more lipstick being used! Nikki has a great speaking style and engaged the team from the outset. Her style enabled the team to feel comfortable asking questions and really get involved in the evenings activities. I will certainly look to Nikki for further events like this in the hospital and can highly recommend her as a guest presenter to other organisations looking for that something special for their team. – Adriana Leonardi, Director Support Services, Sunshine Coast Private Hospital
Nikki was an absolute pleasure to deal with for our Mumpreneurs MASTERCLASS event. As a presenter, she was polished and professional. She understood her audience and immediately engaged with them. As an event manager, it’s nice to work with such an organised speaker. I enjoyed listening to her as much as the audience did! – Penny Webb, Mumpreneurs Masterclass
I was so inspired by your talk last weekend. I went home and cleared out my wardrobe, organised my accessories, started a list of missing items and have booked myself in for a shopping session. I was spoilt with compliments at work today. I lost count of the amount of people who remarked but some of the words were stunning, glamourous, lovely, black suits you and going for a job interview? It was a lot of fun playing with my already existing wardrobe. Thanks for the inspiration. – Leisl, Victoria (attendee of Living Smart/Working Smart, Melbourne, October 30-31, 2010)

Nikki Parkinson was invited at the last minute to do a presentation on wearing your brand in business for the SCBWN Mentoring Program 2010. From the moment that I asked Nikki to do this presentation she was full of concepts and ideas on how to best facilitate the message to our audience. Nikki’s presentation was engaging, very real to the everyday women in the workforce and created lots of opportunity to ask questions, all of the mentorees left the workshop with tools and tricks to really take their business and brand to the next level through their appearance with out spending lots of money. I would highly recommend Nikki and Styling you to any organisation or team that is wanting to know the secrets of dressing for success! – Nicole Sylvester, Nicole Sylvester Consulting, 2010 SCBWN Mentoring Program Facilitator
