This Lola Australia Riviera one-shouldered maxi style is available in a number of colours and in a top. The statement puff sleeve is very on trend and definitely what elevates this style. The elastic also enables you to position the sleeve lower, almost to an off-the-shoulder look.
The maxi skirt has side splits. Without the tie it, I’d wear it poolside with slides. With the tie (or subbing in another belt), it’s a cool, lightweight high summer option for lunch or dinner out. Just add wedges, heels and a statement earring/bangle combo.
I love the large checks as an update to a timeless gingham option and this light tan colour is a perfect neutral.
Size-wise, it’s quite generous. If in doubt, size down. Length-wise, I’m 166cm tall and it almost reaches my ankles.
This is a dress that I’ll reach for when I don’t want to be worried about how hot it is but want to feel effortlessly glam.
