Now, more than ever, Australia’s independent labels need our help. This post features a fun dress from one of Jericho Road‘s autumn-winter 2020 collections, Wide Open Spaces.

The irony of the collection name is not lost on me as we need to take measures to create physical space between us in an attempt to slow the spread of COVID-19. So, if we can’t be out and about, be home in clothes that make you smile.

I love so much about this label and this collection from the two sisters, Kate and Chloe. Again, they’ve collaborated with a fabulous female creator, Elle Whittaker, with a peachy print that is just the kind of cheer we need right now.

There are three shapes available in this print – a skirt, short dress and the midi dress I’m featuring here.

I completely and deeply love this print and its peachy ways. I’m reaching more and more for clothes that give me a bit of a lift and this dress certainly ticks those boxes. I love its beachy ways but also love you could add boots and a denim jacket or longline cardi to transition this dress into winter.

I’m in my usual Jericho Road size (16) and I would suggest you buy for your bust size. There is shirring at the back of the dress for a comfortable fit but you can see the difference a D cup makes in how the top panel of this dress sits with a larger bust when compared with on the model.

I love tiered anything. It gives the illusion of shape in an otherwise voluminous skirt. This falls beautifully and the linen-viscose fabric is soft and beautiful on.

This collection won’t last. Check it out here.
