The Model and Me: Anannasa spring-summer 2019

Hot on the heels of the fabulous red and white Solito print I shared recently, I’ve found another Christmas Day/party option that you’re going to love.

It’s from Queensland label Anannasa – a label I’m excited to share the catwalk with at the Brisbane Fashion Month resort finale on Wednesday night.

I tell you Queensland labels know how to play resorts!

I’m not going to lie, I didn’t think this style would suit me but I was proven very wrong. You can adjust where it sits thanks to the shoulder tie (so yay, no exposed under arm chicken fillets 🤣). And then it flows beautifully down the body with subtle shaping.

The chevron stripe is striking and indeed very festive. The fabric is 100% modal – it won’t crease. It feels like a polyester fabric to touch but is breathable.

I’ve worn with wedges but this dress would work equally well with flat sandals or heels.

Styling You The Label x Brisbane Fashion Month

This Wednesday, SYTL makes its runway debut as part of the Brisbane Fashion Month resort show finale alongside some of my fave designers such as Anannasa … we’ll be unveiling some new resort pieces of our own.
