The Model and Me: Harlow Australia autumn-winter 2019

If you thought my love of anything animal/leopard in a clothing or accessory piece would disappear. Think again. I cannot get enough and am beyond excited that this season there is a veritable smorgasbord of animal print options to add to my collection.

This dress from the Harlow Australia autumn-winter 2019 collection had me all ready to ROAR … from first sight.

I mean, have you ever? I love the fine animal print used in the floaty lightweight viscose. It feels a bit dressed up but suitable for any occasion. As with with all of Harlow’s designs, this dress is designed to fit and flatter a body with curves. 

Harlow offers premium, Australian-made garments that have a rock chic edge for curvy sizes 12 to 26. I’m not a size 12 (I’m a 14) but I do fit the XS in most of Harlow’s designs. That’s the case here. The fit is made even easier by hidden elastic casing at the empire line at the back of the dress. 

I love the ruffle and slight hi-lo hem. The elasticated sleeve hem gives you the option to wear it full length or bloused up. There’s a slight a-line to the skirt to skim the hips.
