It was one of the many classic lines in the movie The Devil Wears Prada and it’s no surprise it’s become an online meme.
Florals? For Spring? Groundbreaking.
Yes, Miranda Priestly, cynicism is all well and good but how could spring NOT be synonymous with with florals?
I’m not a HUGE floral print person but some always find their way into my wardrobe and into my heart each spring. And in this post I’m sharing a floral wardrobe piece that’s done just that.
It’s from the Mojo Beach spring-summer 2018 collection … and I think you’re going to love it.
I just love the subtle florals on the white background of this print. It feels like I’m wearing the print; rather than the print wearing me.
My love of off-the-shoulder anything runs deep, yes, but this dress can also be worn on the the shoulder, as a one-shoulder, and a strapless style. Now that’s versatility!
I love the way the hem of the off-the-shoulder piece sits lower to create the illusion of a waist shape. It makes the garment feel like a two-piece, but with the convenience of a dress.
The fabric is quality soft textured rayon, that is wash and wear – perfect for the every day, an occasion or travel. It’s handmade in Australia and available in three sizes or custom made.
On my feet are the AMiE mid-height heels from FRANKiE4 that I’ve been crushing on. This 65mm heel is an all-day height for me and this neutral is perfect for most summer outfits. To be honest, I’m in love with all four colour ways. Do check out leopard, black and blush gold. SO good.
So, tell me, are you a lover of florals? Love a frock that can be worn more than one way?
These pieces were gifted to me for editorial consideration. Full disclosure policy here.
