Can you feel it? That hint of holiday in the air. With just two weeks left in my working year, I most certainly can.
And my Instagram feed is already filled with so many others already on holidays.
After Christmas, we’re heading away for two weeks at two different beaches, so planning what to pack is very much on my mind.
The South Australian label I’m featuring here certainly knows a thing or three about holiday style. The label is Holiday. It’s all in the name!
Holiday is the foundation brand of the Holiday Trading & Co (other brands includes Talisman, Brave + True and the Shanty Corporation). It’s stocked in boutiques all around Australia and online at birdsnest. Contact Holiday HERE for a stockist near you.
Holiday is all about free-spirited style. You’ll find pieces for throwing on over your swimsuit, days dresses, tops, kaftans and maxis, like the one featured below from the Holiday spring-summer 2017 collection.

I couldn’t love the detailing and drape on this dress more. The tassels, ties and mother-of-pearl embellishments give this beach dress a luxe element.
I love that the shoulder ties mean that you can tie it higher or lower under your arms, depending on how you want that to fit. Me? I like it to be higher and cover my side boob!
It’s a lightweight fabric that I thought would be too sheer without a slip but it was fine when on.
It’s a strapless bra situation – or alternatively wear a normal bra in white so that the bra straps work in with the ties. No use trying to hide the straps so make the colour of the bra work with the straps.
The hot weather means that I’m wearing more and more frocks and tops that require a strapless bra. The questions about strapless bras have been coming thick and fast.
There is no one bra out there that works for every set of breasts. But if you want to wear off-the-shoulder tops or frocks, then make the time to find one that does work for you. You’ll find more ideas to help HERE.
So, tell me …

I’ve actually never worn a strapless bra!! I tend to just wear what I have; I don’t feel the need to buy a new bra to suit a single item of clothing.
Hi Nikki, I love the tassels on the dress, and the colours are lovely of course. You look great as does the model. Will check out the website. Happy Monday! x
Love it. You look great in it!
