What’s a capsule wardrobe?
In a nutshell, a capsule wardrobe is all about filling your wardrobe with MORE of the pieces that mix and match with each other. It’s about having MORE pieces that are versatile – that can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion.
It’s not about having a full-to-overflowing wardrobe, it’s about consciously and mindfully filling your wardrobe with pieces that work with each other.
Get this idea of (an organised) less is more and you’ll always have something to wear.
The Ultimate Capsule Wardrobe Style Challenge
Nailing this concept of a capsule wardrobe is the reason why I offer (twice a year) a online style program that has a capsule wardrobe at its core starting point.

My Ultimate Capsule Wardrobe Style Challenge centres around a 30-piece autumn-winter wardrobe. I’ve hand-picked those 30 pieces, featuring brands and labels I know and love. I realise that what suits me may not suit you, so with every featured clothing piece I’ve included links to four alternative options that might better suit you. You’ll find an option for plus-size, petite, budget and workwear shopping.
And it’s NOT essential to buy any of the suggested pieces. I’m very much about editing and shopping your wardrobe first. Where the proposed capsule and daily outfit suggestions will help you is to give you a starting point for finding similar pieces in your wardrobe.
With each suggested daily outfit combination, you’ll also find dress-up/dress-down alternatives for making each outfit work for casual, the office or an evening out. You’ll also find suggestions to change up the outfit if it’s warm or cold where you live.

It’s two years since we launched the very first Styling You Shop so we thought it was time to change things up a little.
Combining the shop edit with our Ultimate Capsule Wardrobe online program means that we’re really focussing on one plan for the season ahead.

Unlike previous edits where you may have received more than one parcel at different times, this time you’ll receive your entire order together. What does remain the same is that I’ve worked with some of my favourite independent fashion designers and online stores to bring you a selection of clothes that can work for a multitude of trans-seasonal occasions.
The store is only open for a limited time – and stock is limited so if you see something you like, snap it up quick smart. Many items usually sell out in the first couple of days.
Garments range in size from size 6-3XL (not all garments run to this size range but many do). Three pieces are one-size. The price range for each piece is from $55-$252.

The boring (but essential) bits
All items in this shop edit will be sent via Express Post – orders received before 12noon on a business day will be sent that day. You’ll receive a shipping notification with a tracking number for that item. Even though your order will be sent via Express Post, this does not guarantee next day delivery.
We offer refunds and exchanges. You must contact us via email ([email protected]) within three days of receiving the garments to arrange this with us. Clothes must not have been worn and tags must still be on to qualify.

All always way Black or dark colours , as i feel most comfortable in them , but i generally look like a Hag, how can i look good but still feel comfortable in what im wearing
Squeee! I have quickly made a wishlist, early appointment before work so not enough time to order. I love the new labels, and if anyone is thinking about the shrug I absolutely say go for it. I bought the camel version and just love it 🙂
