This time next week I’ll be winging my way to Bali to join 11 other women for a week of four Ss – styling, shopping, spa-ing and sipping (cocktails).
I totally understand if you hate me right now. It’s going to be a fabulous trip with my mate Mrs Woog and hopefully the first of many shopping trips (if you’re keen for a future trip in 2017 or 2018, do pop me an email – [email protected]).
One of the stores we’ll be visiting during the trip is the frockk. I’m looking forward to meeting designer Kathryn Eardley-Wilmot.
This is a label that I was first introduced to by the owners of the gorgeous, light-filled Bell & Ford boutique in Byron Bay. I fell big time for frockk’s signature relaxed styling, muted colours and natural fabrics.
frockk is stocked in boutiques around Australia but Bell & Ford is the online stockist for this label. I’ve featured here a top and a jacket from the frockk spring 2016 collection.
The model
frockk Holly cotton linen mix top | frockk Bianca cotton linen mix jacket – both from Bell & Ford
and me
frockk Holly linen cotton top (I’m wearing L) – from Bell & Ford | Bohemian Traders boyfriend jeans | FRANKiE4 Footwear sandals | Uberkate ring
frockk Bianca linen cotton mix jacket (I’m wearing L) over frockk Holly linen cotton mix top (I’m wearing L) – both from Bell & Ford | Bohemian Traders boyfriend jeans | FRANKiE4 Footwear sandals | Uberkate ring
There is something so comforting wearing natural fibres – especially linen – against your skin. I’ve become such a lover of linen sheets that the minute I put these frockk pieces on, it felt like bedtime.
Kidding. You do feel so effortlessly relaxed though and that’s the appeal of this styling.
The fabric is not meant to be ironed. It softens and looks even better with wear. It’s designed to breathe through a long, hot summer.
The Holly top has a slightly lower hem at the back and falls to just the right position below the hips. The Bianca jacket can also be worn as a top (as shown on the model) but I love it as a light jacket for sun protection or summer evenings with it can turn cool.
The stone colour is just so gorgeous. I’m in love with soft grey but, to be honest, all of the colours are amazing. Holly is also available in deep blue, white and moss green. Bianca is also available in charcoal and white.
Check out the entire frockk range here.
So tell me, do you love wearing linen? Are you already a fan of frockk?
