Spring-summer 2016 Styling You Shop: 15 pieces; 28 different outfits

How did it get to be late October? Has spring found its way to you?

With wardrobe thoughts firmly fixed on the long, hot summer ahead, I’ve got just the outfit plan to see you through.

YES! The spring-summer 2016 Styling You Shop launches today. We’ve got wardrobe options that will take you from spring occasions through to a summer getaway and casual looks for every day in between.

If you’re new to Styling You, our online shop opens just twice a year with a carefully chosen seasonal edit of clothing and accessory pieces.

Not only do we put a lot of consideration into which 15 pieces make the cut for each edit, we show how those pieces can be worn 28 different ways. And we show how those pieces look on two non-models – one of them me.

I’ve worked with some of my favourite independent fashion designers and online stores to bring you a selection of clothes that can work for a multitude of spring-summer occasions.

The store is only open for one month – and stock is limited so if you see something you like, snap it up quick smart.

Garments range in size from size 6-22 (not all garments run to this size range but many do). One piece is one-size (suits size 8-16). The price range is from $45-$229.

The intention is to offer quality pieces that represent value for money – and pieces that will be in your wardrobe for many seasons to come.

Let’s take a look at what’s in store, shall we?

  1. Congratulations on the shop launch! OMG what a fantastic selection. I REALLY want the Adrift bell top, the Bohemian Traders white shorts, the Hunt + Kelly magic skirt… the list goes on!

  2. Hi Nikki, I love the OTS look but I have a larger bust and have to wear a well fitted bra, usually with a thicker shoulder strap, which over the years have left a noticeable divot on the top of my shoulder. So would you suggest staying away from this look, or just going for it and not worrying about my noticeably dinged shoulders?

    1. I’ve had someone ask me about this before (was this you Julie?). It made me check my divots and I think I have them too. It’s really what you feel comfortable doing. What might be ok for me, might not be for you. x

      1. Haha don’t think so, but getting older so maybe. Probably a fairly common problem. Maybe I’ll just stick with the cold shoulder look.

  3. Hi Nikki – love all – if possible can you please share the sizes you are wearing. I am about the same – purchased all your sizes in the ultimate capsule and they are perfect!

  4. Wow Nikki what a beautifully curated collection. I’m liking a few of these pieces. I bought the Hunt and Kelly magic skirt from their pop up store on hawthorne Road a few weeks ago – it’s fabulous!

  5. Hi Nicky, can you telle me exactly how much longer the black dreamer dress is. It looks a good length on you. I bought the original and can only wear it around the house sadly as it is way too short for me and I am 165 cm, 5’5. A younger person could get away with it but not me. I love the dress though, so this is good news depending on the new length.

      1. Thanks! I s that I also commented on that earlier post where I was happy with the length. Not sure what changed. Maybe I grew!

  6. Great capsule _ my fav to date. I cant decide on my favourites. I have some very similar pieces so its given me some good reminders.

  7. Nikki you have nailed it yet again I really can’t pick a favourite as I love them all!
You and Jasmine look gorgeous in all the outfits Xx
