Welcome! You’ve landed here because you’re interested in finding out more about how to take the stress out of dressing this season with my spring-summer online style program.
I’m so glad you’re keen to know more.
First I’d like to give you a little background information.
For more than eight years, I’ve been writing this blog and advising women on how to get their wardrobes sorted and working for – not against – them.
What’s happened for me over that time, is that the more I advise and help, the better I actually get at keeping my wardrobe situation under control as well.
Funny that. The more you practise something, the better you get at it. Who’d have thought?
I’ve been creating and featuring more capsule wardrobes on the blog over the past 12 months and you’ve lapped them up. I understand why they work because they give us a starting point – a road map if you like – to navigate and create a wardrobe that works.
What’s a capsule wardrobe?
In a nutshell, a capsule wardrobe is all about filling your wardrobe with MORE pieces that mix and match with each other. It’s about having MORE pieces that are versatile – that can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion.
It’s not about having a full-to-overflowing wardrobe, it’s about consciously and mindfully filling your wardrobe with pieces that work with each other.
Get this idea of (an organised) less really is more and you’ll always have something to wear.
The Ultimate Capsule Wardrobe Style Challenge
Nailing this concept of a capsule wardrobe is the reason why I’ve chosen to offer you an online style program that has a capsule wardrobe at its core starting point.
I’ve teamed up with Alison Lumbatis, owns and runs the Style Challenge platform, to bring you this spring-summer online style program. Alison is based in the US and I’m the first Australian blogger she’s worked with.
My Ultimate Capsule Wardrobe Style Challenge will centre around a 30-piece spring-summer wardrobe. I’ve hand-picked those 30 pieces, featuring brands and labels I know and love.
From those 30 pieces, I’ve created 42 different outfits – six weeks of outfits. This is where you get a full idea of how a capsule can work for you.
I realise that what suits me may not suit you, so with every featured clothing piece I’ve included links to three alternative options that might better suit you. You’ll find an option for plus-size, petite and budget shopping.
And it’s NOT essential to buy any of the suggested pieces. I’m very much about editing and shopping your wardrobe first. Where the proposed capsule and daily outfit suggestions will help you is to give you a starting point for finding similar pieces in your wardrobe.
With each suggested daily outfit combination, you’ll also find dress-up/dress-down alternatives for making each outfit work for casual, the office or an evening out.
And here’s the big bonus … if you sign up for this online style program, you can also opt in to get my personal style support in our dedicated Facebook group. You can opt in for only the six weeks of the program, or stay on for six months and get season-long support.
I will be hands on in this group, supported by my community managers Robyna and Kirsten, offering specific advice to your styling needs.
