The Model and Me: wYse

My most favourite clothing pieces are ones that can be easily washed, require no ironing and look good wear after wear.

I’ve long termed these style of clothing pieces lifestyle clothing. Clothes that just fit in your life.

wYse is a label that you would have heard me talk about a lot in regards to lifestyle clothing and effortless styling.

I’ve got wYse pieces dating back years that still look like new.

The modal in wYse pieces is incredible – so soft and amazing to wear. It’s made from the pulp of Beechwood trees – it’s biodegradable and environmentally sustainable.

In this post, I’m featuring one of my favourite wYse autumn looks.

Of course this skirt had me at stripes. You can never own too many, I say.

This skirt shape is one that I also am continually drawn to. I have a summer wYse skirt in this shape and it just works to flatter and skim the body.

I haven’t got a hard-core underwear situation happening either. Seamless undies, yes, but you don’t need the sucker-innerers to make this fabric work.

The skirt is long – I’ve folded the waistband over to make it work to the length that I need – so if you’re taller than my 166cm, don’t be put off by how the length looks on me.

As for the top … I’m always up for a splash of red. This shade is just right. (This top also comes in black)

And the shape works, whether you’re half tucking or letting it all hang out. Scooped at the front and longer at the back, this design works to create better proportions in the whole outfit.

Finish with a pair of sneakers and you have a great weekend or casual weekday outfit option.

How’s your stripe collection coming along? Love a splash of red and a maxi skirt?
