“It just screams jungle yet again. I just love it.”
Julia Morris, you crack me up with every outfit, every innuendo pointed in Dr Chris Brown’s general direction and your insistence on wearing anything BUT jungle … when in the jungle.
Julia is comic royalty in Australia and is currently ensconced in the African jungle with said vet, hosting I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.
Given I can’t watch any scary snake encounters or disgusting wild offal consumption, thank goodness for Julia’s wardrobe as the ultimate TV distraction.
The above quote was in response to the celebrities noting her black and white By Johnny midi skirt and black bodysuit … a far cry from their own khaki shorts and shirts.
And also a step away from last year’s safari-inspired style.
Julia gets a helping hand in the styling department – take a very big bow Anne Stringer (@styliststringy) – you’ve once again nailed Julia’s style for this show.
I wrote about Julia’s wardrobe on the show last year and this year, Julia’s given us even more, posting each day’s outfit on her Instagram account.
Most have been figure-hugging stunners, with labels ranging from high street stores such as Saba, Witchery and French Connection through to designer pieces from Leona Edmiston, Wheels & Dollbaby, Aurelio Corstarella, Camilla, sass and bide and Alex Perry.
That navy leather number Julia wore earlier this week? Made in Bali for her.
Overall, there’s only been a minimal amount of animal print on show but still … ROAARRR.
My pick so far?
That time that Julia borrowed my sass and bide cape from my wardrobe.
Kidding. This is Julia.
This is me.
How to get the Julia Morris look
I love how Julia mixes it up. Mostly it’s all about fitted garments that highlight her shape. Other times, she’s not afraid to throw on a kaftan or two and float on in to her day on set.
With this in mind, I’ve put together a capsule wardrobe that would kickstart you into a Julia Morris look that will endure long after the last celebrity has left the jungle.
1. Witchery top $89.95 | 2. Sacha Drake top $159 | 3. Veronika Maine knit $185 | 4. Cue dress $269 | 5. Camilla kaftan $499 @ Zambezee Boutique | 6. Sacha Drake skirt $279 | 7. Witchery skirt $99.95 | 8. Wheels and Dollybaby pants $220 | 9. Top End sandals $169.95 @ Styletread | 10. Tony Bianco heels $159.95 @Styletread | 11. Verali wedges $59.95 @ Styletread
Confession time … who else has been watching? Who’s going to win?

YES!!!! And Julia sure does rock this vibe.
Hee hee … I checked and it’s still in my wardrobe 😉
Love that leopard print Witchery skirt!
It’s a gorgeous piece!
I have seen J Mo in a lot of Camilla
Yes, she just loves it!
I can’t get over Warnie. His casual name dropping and goss is just gold.
I KNOW. Will be interesting when he gets out!
that Witchery skirt is next on my list
It looks great – I bought a Seed cheetah print one last week.
Yes, Julia’s wardrobe is the ultimate TV distraction! Love her humour and Dr Chris is a fun tease for her. Great wardrobe edit! Just brought my first Leopard print ‘Julia Inspired’ dress. xx
ROAARRR … get that leopard out and enjoy!
I don’t watch the show but think she looks fabulous! Love the cape – what a great piece for black tie or other functions. Bit too pricey for me though.
It was a very special gift to myself after winning the state awards JP … cannot wait to trot it out again.
Is that Witchery skirt the same one I saw you wearing on IG? Looked fab on!
My skirt was Seed Jess but I featured the Witchery version here as the Seed one has seemingly sold out.
You both look lovely in that cape. And sequins!
That show’s not really my style, but I do get a chuckle out of the snippets of Julia and Chris that I catch when flicking around or waiting for something else to start. Her cheeky sense of humour set off with that gorgeous sense of style mean that while there’s plenty of variety in her outfits I feel like she always looks like herself.
I need to trot out that cape again soon!
Love, love, love Julia’s wit and her facial expressions! This show has me hooked and yes, I am watching her beautiful wardrobe!! Thanks for your great ideas of pieces to fit her style into our wardrobes, I can imagine stepping out in those Top End sandals… (P.S. – hope The Chief wins!!)
She is just so clever!
I’m not a fan of those types of shows, but I am a huge fan of Julia Morris – funniest lady on the planet and she has a fabulous style xx
Julia is so funny and I love tuning in to see what she’s wearing.
Love her style! That cape is Devine! I went searching for it as soon as I saw it but with a price tag of $750 I quickly cooled my Jett’s over it!
It is an amazing piece!
