How to wear a jumpsuit

I remember when I first stepped into my Sacha Drake Solange jumpsuit.

It was a near-religious experience.

Not only did it feel as comfortable as wearing (fancy) pyjamas, I felt immediately dressed up.

Sacha Drake jumpsuit $249 (available size 8-18)

The jersey fabric drapes beautifully over the bits I prefer being draped over.

The sleeves can be adjusted to either sit out as cap sleeves or be gathered in to almost a tank style.

You can also adjust the waistline. No pesky belt ties limiting where you place the belt that comes with it.

Me? I like wearing the tie on the hips. You might be a true or high-waist kind of girl.

However you waist this jumpsuit, you’ll soon find out just how versatile it is.

As for the inevitable question about how you go to the toilet … well, this one is as simple as untying the tie around your waist or hips and then untying the tie at the back of your neck. It then slips off and you catch it on the way down 😉

Going away for the weekend and want comfortable clothes that don’t crush in your overnight bag? This jumpsuit works a treat. Weekend brunch

 1. Sacha Drake jumpsuit $249 | 2. Bohemian Traders $129

Think ’70s disco meets boho-chic with this teaming of the jumpsuit with a kimono jacket. It works because of the contrast. Add in a pair of comfortable wedges or sandals and it’s an outfit that will take you out to weekend brunch looking fab and feeling comfortable.

  1. Love that Sacha Drake jumpsuit so much and love how versatile it is. My faves are the weekend brunch look and the office. I’m a relatively new fan of the jumpsuit / playsuit. I have two playsuits and definitely have my eye on it’s longer sister the jumpsuit. Particularly in black or navy….xox
