How’s the last day of winter looking where you live?
The pre-spring sun is doing its thing here. I had planned to do my spring wardrobe edit in preparation for the new season but my office was in greater need of a de-clutter and overhaul.
So soothing.
The wardrobe can wait until next weekend. I’m already anticipating that feeling you get after a good de-clutter.
In the meantime, I’m bringing you more spring fashion – this time from Queensland-based label wYse Lifestyle.
wYse is a label I’ve featured here on the blog since SY began in 2008. It’s one of my go-to lifestyle labels, offering easy-care, easy-wear pieces in a natural modal fabric made from the pulp of Beechwood Trees.
Last week I saw wYse show at the Mercedes-Benz Brisbane Fashion Festival (you can check out more of the new-season designs here).
In this post I’m featuring a new-season top, cami and skirt combination in classic black and stone colours.
the model
wYse lifestyle top $132 and skirt $125
and me
wYse Lifestyle top, cami and skirt (I’m wearing size XL in each piece)* | Zoe Kratzmann heels* | Estil clutch*
I love a lot about wYse. The fabrics are so easy and comfortable to wear. They don’t need ironing and always look as good as new when you wear them.
The designs themselves are timeless and work back with so much in your wardrobe – and if you collect wYse pieces – new-season pieces always complement what you already own.
This skirt is a classic shape and length. And – HELLO – stripes! I’ve got a few wYse skirts in this shape and they really do lend themselves to being worn casually with sneakers or dressed up with heels as I’ve done here.
I’m in love with the top. I love the sheer panels and cut outs. I’ve worn it over a black cami; the model is wearing over a stone-coloured cami. One top – two different looks – just by changing what’s worn underneath.
The sizing with wYse is true and not over-sized. I’m a size 16 and always wear a XL in this label.
The heels are new season Zoe Kratzmann. I have this style in a nude leather from last summer and it proved to be one of the most wearable dressy heel styles I’ve ever owned. You have height but the platform means your arch is not over-working itself.
The clutch is gorgeous hand-crafted leather from Florence, in Italy. The cream and tan colouring is a perfect match for this season’s strong ’70s trend.
Are these pieces that could be at home in your wardrobe? What’s the final day of winter looking like for you?
* These items were gifted to me for editorial consideration. Full disclosure policy here.
PS. Don’t forget, the Spring Styling You Shop opens tomorrow, September 1. It’s only open until September 30 so if you see something you like, snap it up!

I adore this Nikki, one that will last for years! Prefer it with your black cami under, and it’s like the ZK heels were made for the outfit! Stunner!
It does look like that Louisa! Thanks x
Gorgeous classic and timeless!
Yes my favourite style Jess!
Lovely outfit but I think I’m all about the shoes today – swoon! x

Love, love, love, love! Every single item is ticking the box for me. As for the weather, it’s a beautiful sunny day here. It’s amazing what a bit of sunshine and blue sky can do for a girl! x
Thanks and yay for sunshine. Hope you’re feeling better! x
Last Day of Winter is glorious here in Sydney!! It was wonderful weekend weather too, so I hunted out lovely Spring things I had forgotten as my wardrobe edit needed to be postponed to next weekend too! This outfit is fabulous, love the stripes in the skirt and I see here the ‘basics’ playing the part of being ever- ready for new looks!! Still adding to my basics for Spring but I feel I am sort of ‘getting it’. Thank you Nikki for another dose of fabulous to start the day 🙂
I’m glad that you’re getting it re the basics Kim … and good luck with the wardrobe edit! Hoping that I’ll get mine sorted this weekend too!
Love black and stone, always a winning combo. Shame that the size you need is XL – honey, you aren’t an XL at all. When will brands/designers size their pieces to suit real women?!
I am XL Janet – size 16 hips and bust!
Nope – you’re a NORMAL woman. Size “N” for normal or “A” for average, NOT XL!
It’s just a number or a letter Janet – I don’t get hung up on it – just wear what fits me!

Love this outfit but would definitely prefer it with nude shoes. The black tends to shorten legs. Travelling at present and following hour travel edit. Thanks.
Personal preference is everything! I’d wear it with nude too but love the black for anchoring this outfit.
I really love that top and i think it looks much better with the black cami. I had a quite look at some of their spring collection I love the bright colours.
The colours are just gorgeous – loved seeing them on the runway last week.

Love that skirt! Black and stone – one of my fave colour combos – plus stripes, what’s not to love. I just ordered a navy and white striped dress from the lovely birdsnest girls and can’t wait for it to arrive! Happy Spring everyone! Xx
Can never have too many stripes! x
That skirt would be a perfect spring capsule piece, love it!
Yes indeed Vicki!
The skirt would be a perfect paring capsule piece, you look lovely.
Love this look on you xx
Thanks Bev x
Gorgeous! Loving the skirt. Very much. And the clutch. Looking good Nikki.
Thanks Kathryn – such a versatile outfit!
I love this Nikki. I love that you have styled the top with a black cami. Perfect.
Thanks V … is a dressier look I think.

I LOVE this outfit. You look gorgeous! The top and shoes are my favourites.
Thanks Sarah … mine too!
Apologies to the model but you’ve totally stolen her thunder here. Rocking that look x
Ahh, you’re too lovely. Thank-you. x
Well it’s hot here in Paris : 33 degrees today and still very warm this evening! We’re enjoying the “climatisation” tonight.
Love this top, especially with the black cami underneath. I actually looked at the model and thought I bet Nikki goes for a black cami before I scrolled down.
Oui Oui! You’re there. And it’s still as hot as when we were there. Enjoy it all Johanne and pop back here when you can and share an update!! x
Lovely outfit, personally I prefer the black cami. I would feel naked in the nude colour, but it does look lovely on the model. I didn’t get my wardrobe done either, next Saturday will be the day. And winter is giving us a good nip this morning on the coast, it’s bloody cold! Kathryn 🙂
Next Saturday it is Kathryn! And yes, was cool here this morning too. I don’t mind a bit of doona snuggling at night as long as the days are beautiful!
