If gold medals were handed out for hair care, I’m afraid I’d have to pull a Steven Bradbury to be in contention.

If sport’s not your thing … Bradbury is the former Australian speed ice skater who won the 1000m event at the 2002 Winter Olympics because he kept focussed on the end result after all of his opponents were involved in a last corner pile-up.

Not that I’m suggesting that my lazy-girl beauty ways cause pile-ups as women around the country edge out the competition for a gold in hair care. Nor am I suggesting that Bradbury was lazy.

No, I’m just suggesting that you don’t actually have to be the technical best at hair care to produce a golden result.

As with all my beauty routines, I like to keep things simple.

To find out how that applies to my hair, click on over to the Schwarzkopf Style Studio blog where I’ve come clean about my lazy-girl hair ways and have revealed my hair care tips for you.

  1. Great tips! I have sported a fringe for years and had a recent holiday to the Sunshine Coast & Noosa ruined by a fringe hack (new, distracted hairdresser) – needless to say, I will NOT be returning there…

  2. Great tips Nikki,I agree about the salon visit every 6 weeks that is a must for me ,it keeps regrowth in check and added greys help too and it is in good condition,I only wash mine 2-3 times a week too,age does have it’s pluses and I love Moroccan or Argan oil ,a few drops through just washed hair.I also use a little baby powder when I think it is a tad dirty and needs some oomph doesn’t weigh down my fine hair and gives it a bit more body.
