What do you sell in your store?

The products that I sell in my store are natural and sustainable. There are three products ranges: meditation cushions (the cushions have been specifically designed to anchor the back and help keep the spine aligned); meditation blankets (all natural, made from 100% cotton. Providing warmth and comfort, they envelope the body and facilitate a deeper, more enjoyable meditation) and candles (they are hand poured using pure Australian beeswax, supporting our bee farmers. The wicks are 100% cotton; the essential oils, 100% pure. Each candle contains a card with positive affirmations that align with each candle blend – meditation, bliss, soul and gratitude.).

How did the idea for your store come about?

I teach meditation with regular classes and in corporate companies for wellbeing. I wanted to create beautiful and supportive products to help people achieve deeper states of consciousness in meditation and assist in harmonising their day-to-day environments.

What’s is your career background?

In 2007, I attended the Chopra Centre in the US to complete the teacher training in Primordial Sound Meditation with Deepak Chopra. I have worked in the magazine industry for 20 years and spent the last 15 years working on marie claire magazine. One year ago I walked away from rolling deadlines, endless presentations, steep budgets, staff management and constant client demands to share my passion of meditation with others.

Who is your key customer?

My key customers are people who like beautiful and natural products for their meditation and yoga practices or who want stylish products for their home.

How do you make it easy for your online customers to buy from you?

I make it easy for customers to buy from me as the goods are couriered to their home. They don’t have to go to the Post Office to collect them.

Do you sell in person or in a physical store as well?

I sell online and in a small amount of homeware stores and spas.

List your current most popular products?

The grey, brown and lilac cushions. I personally love the orange/ lime green as orange is my favourite colour. The blue, grey and camel stripe blankets and all the candle blends.

What’s next for your online store?

A very exciting range of cushions and blankets in different fabrics and colours. A broader range of candles and other products which will help to harmonise your life.
