It seems Styling You readers love online shopping or – at the very least – browsing. And having grown up in a country town without easy access to a diverse range of stores, I certainly get why. I love that it doesn’t matter where you live, if you want to develop your style or find a piece that’s not the every day, then you’ll find it online. This is the first in a regular series I’m starting on Styling You which will profile some of the incredible independent online stores.

How did the idea for your store come about?

Initially I wanted to add to the shopping options available on the Sunshine Coast and started with “parties” in people’s homes. I knew women love to shop in the convenience of their own home as well as in the company of their girlfriends with a glass of bubbles in their hand. Bella Lido now sells at markets, online and through fundraising events.

Mums and all woman who appreciate easy-to-wear, quality clothing and accessories at a reasonable price and who also enjoy the convenience of home and online shopping.

How do you make it easy for your online customers to buy from you?

Bella Lido’s size range is mostly S/M, M/L, L/XL, from a range that is free-flowing, therefore making it easy to shop without trying the article on. Shoe sizes range from size 36 to 42 which is standard sizing.

Do you also sell in person or in a physical store?

Bella Lido also opens up its store from home on the second and fourth Thursday of the month plus at boutique markets on the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane and the Gold Coast, as well as fundraising shopping and fashion parade events.

What are your current most popular products?

Bella Lido’s leather summer sandal range, Bella Lido’s spring/summer range and Kalokeri, a beautiful clothing range from a Melbourne designer, Rebecca Palamaras.

What’s next for your online store?

I’ll be building on my Bella Lido range plus increasing the range of clothing and accessories with some exciting new designers and incorporating organic beauty products from Bubbles Essential Wellbeing, as well as Lemon Canary’s beautiful soy candle range and accessories from Maria Diakos, Pratten and Andy & Molly.
