Welcome to Style File at Styling You … fashion and beauty snippets rolled into one spot. It’s all the stuff you didn’t realise you needed to know but now that you do you’ll feel like you’re up with the goss. And king of the watercooler.
Sydney Benefit blogger event
My new car clutch put paid to a trip to Sydney last night to swish it up at Benefit Boutique Paddington and meet daughter of co-founder, Jean and niece of co-founder, Jane, Maggie and Annie Ford Danielson. Instead I “experienced” the event through the uber-glam Mrs Woog, who one day will hopefully accept my Styling You beauty internship offer. One day.
Anyway, back to Benefit. Maggie and Annie Ford Danielson are Benefit’s makeup trend artists and brand authorities and they’re in Australia this week to celebrate 10 years of Benefit in Australia. Like thousands of Australian fans, I love Benefit for its fantastic, innovative products, quirky names and packaging. Bloggers last night were introduced to the new Finding Mr. Bright kit and got a sneak peek of Benefit’s new “b.right!” Radiant Skincare. All Mrs Woog sent me (apart from a tweet asking what an aesthetician was) was this. Is this Mr Bright?

You can then save your favourites as a shopping list and use the store locator to find your nearest Dermalogica stockist – complete with map.
Give me MOR
I love the MOR Wonderlandia theme and recently Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane MOR fans got to see it recreated in a window display of the Bourke Street, Sydney City and Queen Street stores – an amazing opportunity to help celebrate our the company’s 10 year anniversary. What’s your favourite MOR product?

OK, so Nikki if you ever get invited to a soiree with near-naked men in Perth and need representation … you know who to call, right?

Yep, you’re so on, Paula; plus I’ve got Sawhole covering Stocko!
God bless Mrs Woogs and her willingness to give up her free time for you – must have been tough to twist her arm to attend this…!

Bless her little cotton socks, I say … especially since she got invited on her own accord and I just forced her to tweet me updates so it felt like I was there. Her dedication to fellow bloggers is an example to us all.
I’m waiting for my Benefit pack to come in the mail. I so hope he pops out of the box!
Love the MOR candle in tea cup too.

That would certainly be a bonus!
Cool stuff, I still don’t have but am lusting after the MOR candle in a tea cup. It should be in each room of my house, but sadly I still only have some soaps. Which the family know I will cut their arms off if they touch them!

Oh, I love those candles. Love anything MOR really. You need to drop Mother’s Day hints.
That boy was so nice to let me pat him. And yes, you could grate cheese on his abs xx

But he has nothing on Mr Woog, right?
