Sacha Drake knows a think or two about frocks. She designed her first at 14.
When other girls her age were playing netball or going shopping, Sacha started sewing lessons with a 70-year-old tailoress. It was here that she learned the foundations of made-to-measure pattern making.
In 2002 after a fashion education that spanned several countries, Sacha returned to Brisbane and started her own label – it’s a label synonymous with elegant dresses that fit and flatter.
And boy, oh boy, do I like that.
I’ve long been a fan of Sacha’s timeless designs. She offers colour all year round and her designs never fail to draw comments.
And boy, oh boy, do I like that too.
For Stylers living outside the Sunshine Coast, you can get a taste of what Sacha has to offer here.
For Coasters, I’m excited to announce that Sacha will be special guest at the Sunshine Coast Business Expo’s Pacific Volvo Women with Drive lunch.
Yours truly will be sharing the stage with the “Frock Queen”, as she gives the audience tips and solid advice on what to wear for work – from a home office to meetings, day and evening functions.
Yes, we expect a lot from our wardrobes and Sacha will show us how to maximise our work-day looks.
