Welcome to Makeup Monday*. This week, I’m obsessed (still) with concealors and manicures that last. Yes, we’re smack bang in the middle of the party season and I’m in need of all the ammunition I can lay my hands on.
1. CND Shellac. I received this two-week manicure treatment at Lime, Health and Beauty, Cotton Tree. Add a Shellac application on to a mani or pedi for $20; or by itself for $35. Removal is $15. For information about your nearest CND Shellac professional, phone 1800 449 109.
2. Enhance by Natural Compatibles Perfect Touch Concealer collection. Available in five shades ($30 each). I tried C2 Beige (great for sun spots); C4 Natural (fair skin undertones); and C5 Anti Red (a yellow base to counteract redness). Ph 03 9764 0966 or visit www.naturalcompatibles.com.au
* My beauty cabinet is full to overflowing on any given day but it never ceases to amaze me when I come across more beauty products that are, well, essential. So every week in Makeup Monday, I’ll tell you all about three products that have floated my beauty boat. And I’d love to hear from you, what did you buy on the weekend? Have you tried any of these?

I have been getting into Trilogy rosehip oil lately – putting it on at night after cleansing but a while before bed so it has time to soak into my face and not my pillow. It is really making a difference to my skin and its cheap too – $35 at Priceline – as opposed to my previous night face routine of SK-II essence which costs considerably more.

Oh, I hear you Paul. Trilogy Rosehip oil is fabulous. I interchange it along with a Twenty28 and Shizen face serum quite regularly.
