Welcome to your Fabulous Friday style tip … something on the video to think about before the weekend. This week I’m a bit nervous about going to my husband’s Christmas party and not knowing ANYONE. If you get caught in this situation, make your clothes work to help you feel more confident.
Here’s a fabulous black party dress from Witchery that gives you shape (thanks to the shirring detail under the bust) but is comfortable enough that you won’t be self-conscious of what lumps and bumps are on show.
Team it with a statement necklace like this one from Katiebo and you have a conversation-starting outfit that will break the ice at a social event and help you feel your most confident.

Off to Witchery later to track down that dress!
My husband’s work consistently throw themed dress Christmas parties. SOOO over it – would love to buy a cute frock for a nice cocktail party but no, every year its Austin Powers etc where the men wear something funny and the women end up looking like tramps.

Don’t get me started on Themed parties. I’ve had an aversion to fancy dress since I was five. (actually there’s a blog post in that … stay tuned!)
Can you do your blog post before Thurs – I need help!!!
Its Bond theme this year – I’m thinking I can get away with a formal dress and some good hair/makeup…
