Welcome to Fabulous Fridays – my weekly blog and video blog (vlog!) about the things that have made my week. It’s all about the positive – and yes, you’ll find a little video style tip as well. Let me know what you think? And most importantly, what’s made your week.
Here’s what’s made my week
I’d love to be starting this post with a big WOO HOO … I’ve got Oprah tickets. But I’d be lying. I got not one, but two emails to tell me that I was a LOSER, that my dreams of squealing at the top of my lungs as Oprah gave away her favourite Australian things had been quashed. Oh, well, these people were really lucky. I’M REALLY HAPPY FOR THEM. REALLY.
But moving right along because I have. Really, I have.
I want to dedicate this Fabulous Friday post to two of my friends from the blogging community. The first is Stacey Roberts (aka Veggie Mama). Stacey is a mad keen vegetarian cook, who happens to be my neighbour (quite handy when you think you need a piece of homemade cake). Stacey is just over half way through her first pregnancy and honestly, she’s giving Miranda Kerr a run for her money. Anyway as soon as I heard that the lovely people at Lovable Lingerie are holding a Yummy Mummy baby bump competition, I called over the fence (oh, all right, I tweeted) to tell Stacey I was coming round with my camera. So, here’s the result. We just need you to vote here (Stacey, QLD) and tell all your friends.
Another Sunshine Coast-based blogger kicking business and blogging goals in the world of cyberspace is Annabel Candy. The former teacher and journalist has an incredible way of imparting her knowledge of the blogging world in an easy-to-read, yet informative style. This month she has launched her training program – Successful Blogging in 12 steps. For those new to blogging or those bloggers wanting to go to the next level, it’s an affordable way to learn the right way. If you’d like to know more, head here.

She is stunning and I’d love her to win, so she gets a cleaner for a year. If cleaner gets finished early they can come next door and work on my mess

Hi Nikki, wow, thanks for the big shout out! Never mind about Oprah – she’ll be back and probably making a beeline for you next time. Congratulations on your recent award – that’s afantastic news and well deserved.
Loved watching the video, it really brings you to life and glad to see you’re tackling some of the throny issues of style like toe cleavage! Lol:) Yes, Stacy looks phenomenal. I’ve got my vote in! And here’s to all of us bloggers, looking to see what adventures it brings us next:)
