Innoxa Skin Sensitive Daily Moisture Lotion with SPF15 $24.95
The facts: Gentle, moisturising and hydrating with the added benefit of SPF15, new INNOXA Skin Sensitive Daily Moisture Lotion contains sunscreen which is gentle and 100% allergy tested – unlike most sunscreens that cause redness or tingling to sensitive skin types, this product will not irritate sensitive skin in any way. This lotion is packed with nutrients that our skin just loves: Neutrazen (a protective layer which helps protect sensitive skin from environmental irritants); vitamin E (gently protects and soothes sensitive skin); orange and apple fruit waters (for a rich concentrated source of minerals); trace elements (potassium, magnesium, calcium and sodium to assist in skin renewal).
The review: I never leave the house without make-up and my foundation has SPF20, so I rarely use sunscreen on my face. For this blog I tested the product on my neck and décolleté … areas prone to neglect, I’ll admit. The lotion is contained in a 50ml tube, small enough to slip in to a handbag and take with you, as it needs to be re-applied after a few hours. The consistency is quite creamy, rather than a lotion, and does need to be massaged in to make the tell-tale whiteness disappear. I found that a little goes a long way, so this product would be quite economical. It has a smooth non-greasy feel on the skin and my rather sensitive skin showed no redness or irritation afterwards. All in all, it’s a keeper and reassuring to know that you can have sun-protection without the risk of irritation.
