Dear Miranda Kerr, can I please look like you?

Miranda Kerr sent me a card the other day.  Seriously.  It was signed by her and included xxx.  My husband was very excited. Can’t find that card anywhere now.

Me, I was more interested in the gorgeous blue packaged products that came with the card:  Essential Body Wash $34.95 and Energising Citrus Mist $39.95.

These are just two in the range of 15 products now available in the Kora Organics by Miranda Kerr collection.

Kora is an easy sell, really.  I mean, just look at the gorgeous girl.  Who doesn’t want to have a slice of what she’s having? (oops, did I just segueway to Orlando Bloom. My bad.)

“As a model, I have to look my best, so what I put on my skin really matters,” says the international catwalk queen and ambassador for David Jones.  “About three years ago, I started talking to friends and family about creating a line of skin care products that would bring together natural ingredients I used and knew really worked, and that would also deliver real results,” she says.

Enter stage left, Kora Organics by Miranda Kerr.

Kora has been scientifically formulated using a high percentage of organic ingredients, as well as a fusion of essential oils, healing remedies, herbal solutions and cutting-edge chemistry.

Reflecting Miranda’s own holistic approach to health and wellbeing, the key active ingredients include the macro nutrient Noni (which Miranda drinks daily), which contains 177 vitamins and minerals, macrobiotic salts sourced from the Pacific Ocean, rose-charged energised water, rosehip oil, vitamins ACE complex and vitamin E.

So, back to the products at hand.  LOVING the body wash.   It includes a blend of organically sourced essential oils – ylang ylang, sandalwood, rose and patchouli. It’s free from parabens and skin irritants and leaves the skin clean and nourished but not squeaky (you DO NOT WANT squeaky – squeaky equals skin stripped of natural oils).

The Energising Citrus Mist is designed to use after your cleanser but I actually like having mine at the ready near my desk (especially handy at 3pm … might even save you from a chocolate fix. I mean, what would Miranda do? Just saying.).  Organic Grapefruit and Tangerine combine with Aloe Vera and natural hyaluronic acid to maintain skin freshness and suppleness.

Clearly there’s been a lot of hype about the collection since its launch late last year.  That’s going to happen whenever Miranda is fronting something.  But in this case you really are getting a little piece of Ms Kerr’s philosophy on life with every shower or spritz.  And that’s got to be a good thing.

Kora Organics by Miranda Kerr is available at all David Jones stores or buy online at

  1. Post
  2. Miranda Kerr is stupidly beautiful. Her and Natlia – I would love to look like either. And she really practices what she preaches – not sure if her spritz would be enough to change my features into hers though!
