Those who know me know that Ovarian cancer has touched our family in a way like I wished no other family had to experience.
My beautiful mother-in-law was just 54 when she lost her 14 month battle with this dreaded disease. I know she is not alone. So many women do not survive Ovarian cancer because there is no early detection test so most diagnoses are made way too late for treatment to be effective in the long term.
I’m now a passionate supporter of companies, such as Napoleon Perdis and Witchery, which both offer a corporate helping hand to research into this disease. Witchery supports the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation. Napoleon Perdis, Ovarian Cancer Australia.
This month is Ovarian Cancer Awareness month and not only is Napoleon Perdis selling teal-coloured ribbons in its concept stores but it is also raising funds for the organisation.
Here’s how you can make a difference:
1. Treat your lips to any of the Napoleon Perdis Auto Pilot Lip Service balms ($28) in Original, Hush or Cherry and the net proceeds from each product sale will go to the OCA.
2. Book in for a makeover this Friday, February 12, and pay half the usual price – $40. Of that $40 fee, Napoleon Perdis will donate $20 to the OCA.
These offers are only available at Napoleon Perdis Concept Stores. Visit www.napoleonperdis.com for locations.
