The temperature rose as high as the hems on 20-somethings at the track for Melbourne Cup Day 2008 on the Sunshine Coast.

But for those who opted for the three-course lunch at The Wine Bar, Maroochydore, it was a cool and classy affair.

Guests sipped on Chandon bubbles and enjoyed the hospitality that this restaurant is famous for (staff who weren’t on deck at Maroochydore were at Corbould Park, where Tony Kelly and his team were catering for 200 in the Reed Property Group marquee!)

Faye Rolph Models for Zambezee Boutique @ The Wine BarSweeps were snapped up and guests watched the race on the big screen TVs – but not before getting a taste of high summer fashion from Zambezee boutique.

Faye Rolph Models’ models showcased designs (many of which were is classic monochromatic tones) from George Gross, Harry Who, Catalyst, Trelise Cooper, EP by Easton Pearson, Marc Cain and Annah Stretton.

Faye Rolph Models and Zambezee also hosted a parade at the Sunshine Coast Turf Club’s Corbould Park celebrations … and Faye Rolph Models featured in parades at the Sunshine Coast Function Centre, Caloundra and Montego’s, Kawana Island.

Stay tuned for exciting news from Zambezee boutique.  The boutique has been in Mooloolaba for almost 12 years and next week opens a new store at Noosaville on Gympie Terrace.
