hardtofind. sells gifts featuring homewares, soft furnishings, premium food products, clothing, kid’s stuff and accessories, split into categories: Home & Garden, Travel, Women, Men and Kids. Customers are able to visit, and purchase from, 50 mini boutiques on the user-friendly website.
How did the idea for your store come about?
As working mums, we had little time for shopping beyond the basics. We also saw a gap in the market for a quality website that offered customers a one-stop shop for unique products at the touch of a button.
What are your career backgrounds?
Both of us have decades’ worth of experience on prestigious consumer magazines, which allows us to have a keen editorial eye for detail, with the ability to select the best products and display them in a stylish user-friendly environment.
Who is your key customer?
The great thing about hardtofind. is that it appeals to everyone.
How do you make it easy for your online customers to buy from you?
hardtofind. makes shopping easy for customers based in high-traffic, hard-to-park metro areas or remote regional locations. The website is split into easy-to-navigate categories and it’s a one-stop-shop for everyone in the family.
Do you sell in person or in a physical store as well?
Just online.
