What do you sell in your store?
Various stationery products, including journals, albums, journals. Also gifts and pieces for home and office, including scented candles, clocks, books, rubbish bins, handsets for iPhones, etc.
How did the idea for your store come about?
We’ve had a retail store on High Street in Armadale, Melbourne for six years and the online store was a natural progression. Customers had been asking for a while if they could purchase over the internet, so we decided to get the products online.
What is your career background?
Papyrus Design grew from my love of stationery and paper goods. While working in the corporate sector, I was constantly disappointed by the lack of beautiful stationery for personal correspondence, as well as invitations for weddings and events. I then decided to pursue my passion, and Papyrus Design was born.
Who is your key customer?
Anyone with a love for beautiful quality products, or stationery. We also have a large design studio catering for bespoke personal stationery and invitations
How do you make it easy for your online customers to buy from you?
We ensure all products include photos and descriptions to help customers see the products before purchasing.
Do you sell in person or in a physical store as well?
We have a retail store and design studio at 1119 High Street, Armadale in Melbourne where people can purchase products or come in for an invitation consultation.

What’s next for your online store?
To grow the range of beautiful stationery products from both in-house designs as well as new ranges we source from around the world.
