What do you sell in your store?
I sell fine jewellery ranging from earrings, bracelets, necklaces and cocktail rings. I also do bespoke designs for people. Some of my clients have jewellery handed down from their grandparents which they want re-worked into something modern and more their style.
I love working with vintage jewellery and turning it into something new and luxurious. With offices in Sydney and London, my team and I travel the globe to find only the very best in beautiful gemstones.
Clients also receive unparalleled access to the CAFJ private vault to create their signature fine jewellery.
How did the idea for your store come about?
I have been successfully designing jewellery in the UK where I lived for 10 years. When I returned to Sydney I took some time out to have a baby, and then I started this baby in 2010.
What is your career background?
When I moved to the UK I was working in IT, but my passion was jewellery design. I am completely self-taught, although I have a jewellery school still running in the UK as well).
Who is your key customer?
Mostly females who are 25+ years. Men are also very loyal customers. I think men really appreciate our extra effort with customer service.
How do you make it easy for your online customers to buy from you?
We have photos of the products on models and Instagram shots, to give a real life feel to the jewellery. Jewellery is very personal so it’s important to show what it looks like on. I am dedicated to customer service and our customers being 150% happy with their pieces. We go to great lengths to ensure our customers love their piece of jewellery as it’s so personal and special. I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Do you sell in person or in a physical store as well?
