What do you sell in your store?
Fashion jewellery and accessories from around the world, in limited edition quantities.
I also offer all my customers styling advice, free of charge.
Say you were going to a ball and couldn’t find the right jewellery to go with your outfit. You can send me images of your dress and I’ll send you suggestions and do a little photo montage for you with prices. I can order things for you specifically, too and there’s no added cost for that.
A lot of people don’t have a lot of ideas about how to wear things, and I really believe you can head off to work in a nice little black dress with a nice gold chain and earrings. Then, just by changing an accessory and wearing something fabulolus, go to a cocktail party afterwards.
How did the idea for your store come about?
I spent weeks looking for the perfect statement necklace to wear to a wedding, only to find that someone else had the same necklace.
I decided then that I wanted to import unique jewellery and accessories, predominantly from New York, LA and Europe.
What’s is your career background?
I’ve worked in marketing, public relations, sales promotions and I’ve worked as an interior designer for my husband, who’s a property developer. I’m also an affiliate member of the Association of Image Consultants International and I’ve styled jewellery for fashion parades.
Who is your key customer?
My customer wants the latest trends and enjoys expressing their own individual style with jewellery and accessories that make a statement.
How do you make it easy for your online customers to buy from you?
We accept PayPal and credit cards. Gift packaging is included and all our products are sent using overnight express post for a flat fee of $10.
You can also sign up to be a Wild Girls member and receive styling advice, special offers, including discounts and gifts through a regular newsletter. To become a member, sign up for our newsletter on the website or through Facebook. You also receive a free gift for every product you buy. It could be a cocktail ring or a pair of earrings!
Do you sell in person or in a physical store as well?
The Gold Coast showroom is open to wholesale customers and the public by appointment. If you’d like to visit, just contact me.
